I stayed 3 days at Killiecrankie while in holiday and was very impressed. Room was very comfortable and though furniture was old, décor was very attractive and everything was spotlessly clean - and I liked the little vase of garden flowers. My room was a single upstairs - the proprietor changed it from the downstairs single when I arrived, saying... more

Excellent quality in every aspect - atmosphere, service, beautiful room, wonderful garden, and on top of that - excellent food, really very very good, not to mention the wines. The Killicrankie Walks is just one example of the perfect location of this hotel. And perfect when you arrive/leave at Edinburgh Airport. more

We came here as a result of the good reviews on trip advisor. On reflection none of the reviews were positive enough. This hotel and its location are a delight and the food was tremendous. However, as always it is the people who make the difference - Henrietta Fergusson is a top hotelier who has built a competent and hospitable... more

Having stayed at the Killiekrankie House Hotel for the weekend, I must say that the friendly staff and fantastic food amde for a real treat. The menu very much reflected the magnificent Scottish countryside with dishes such as fillet of venison and guinea fowl which were all of fantastic quality. My wife is a vegetarian and we both felt that... more

My partner and I are just back from a two night stay at the wonderful Killiecrankie House Hotel. The hotel is three miles from Pitlochery, very close to the "Pass of Killiecrankie", a beautiful walk easily accessible from right outside the front door. The interior of the hotel strikes just the right balance between modern and traditional. The rooms are... more

My husband and I were both recovering from flu and nearly cancelled our trip to Killiecrankie. I am so glad we didn't. The hotel is the perfect cure for any ailment. Killiecrankie House is comfortable, spotlessly clean with exceptional food. The real highlight however was the quality of the service. Tom on front of house was friendly, efficient and very... more

Having just returned from a three night stay at Killikrankie, all we can do is shout out our praise. The staff led by Henrietta were attentive and thoughtful. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was perfection, we particularly enjoyed the bed turn down with the addition of hot water bottles. (Not really required as the room and hotel were... more

We were booked in here for just one night - and wished it had been longer. A very friendly welcome, a lovely room overlooking the garden, and delicious food. The hotel is ideally placed to visit many places of interest round about. We certainly hope to go back. more

Killicrankie House nestles in a lovely wooded valley. The welcome we received was warm and friendly. Our room was immaculate and comfortable. The food was outstandingly good. The Aberdeen Angus steak was probably the best I have ever tasted. Henrietta, the owner, was always available to help and advise. A bonus for shopaholics - Thre House of Bruar is just... more

My husband and I, along with our children and my husband's parents stayed at the Killiecrankie Hotel purely by accident - the holiday cottage we'd booked was distinctly below par and I phoned on the off-chance that the hotel might have rooms available at short notice. Henrietta, the manager, was unbelievably kind and managed to get us all into the... more
