This place was everything you would ever want a hotel to be. The service was amazing, the setting was phenomenal. Bus service into town very close by for us non-car travelers, and walking trails start right across the street. This place is casual and luxurious all in one. You feel totally pampered, but as independent as you want to be.... More

Thank you so much for writing such nice things about your stay with us. We love having guests who are 'Seeing Scotland Differently' with McKinlay Kidd as they really do get down to grass roots, riding the local bus and visiting all the local hostelries, shops and castles. Do come and visit us again (I appreciate it's a long way!)... More

We have just returned from a marvellous 2 night stay at Killiecrankie, from the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome, the staff are all delightful and incredibly attentive. Callum in particular was so kind in advising activities and bringing us out coffee to the beautiful garden to enjoy after dinner the restaurant. Our room was lovely... More

A charming small country hotel, situated midway between the bus hordes in Pitlochry center and Blair Castle, this gem is surrounded by a beautiful garden, perfect for sitting. The hotel is pleasantly decorated, with TVs, bathtubs, creature comforts. The chef and wait staff were very, k hospitable and the food was gourmet. Best for those with cars, since bus service... That was a busy day wasn't it? Thank you so much for taking the time to be so positive about your visit. Our Festival of Fish, which we have run for many years now, has proven to bew so popular this year that we decided to keep it going through July as well - clearly a popular choice! I hope... More

Small group of us enjoyed Sunday lunch here. Beautiful setting and view from the conservatory wonderful. Menu offered good choices, especially the fish courses. I had scallops to start and fish curry mains, both delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful, even though it was busy. Starters took a while to arrive but mains followed quickly. The hotel is nicely decorated... More

We discovered this wonderful small hotel last year. On both of our visits we have lacked for nothing - every small need of the visitor has been anticipated and provided for. The rooms are lovely looking out onto a beautifully cared for garden - flowers, veg, lawns and perenial borders. There's lots of up to date information on things to... More

It's funny how you can stay at a place and say "we'll be back soon" only to find that time passes all too quickly and you suddenly realise you've been away far too long. We first stayed here back in 2010 (my review at the time provides evidence enough if required) and really enjoyed it. Returning after 4 years we... More
