Absolutely lovely meal here with my Husband, we were taken to the bar area for a drink before dinner and looked after so well by the staff, particularly beanie the sweet little hotel pooch who excells as front of house and snuggled up to us while we drank. Dinner was delicious served in the opulent dining room and Callum was... More

On a rail tour of Scotland my husband and I spent a couple of nights in the company of Henrietta at this wonderful hotel in a beautiful location. Never thing about it was first rate, from the welcome as we arrived, to the hot water bottles tucked neatly in our beds at the end of the day. The food was... More

This is not my first visit and it didn't disappoint. Quite the opposite, it just makes you want to go back again and again. There is nothing quite like staying in a place that's privately owned and privately run. Nowadays, that's hard to find. From arrival to departure, Henrietta, Beanie, Callum and the team look after every detail of your... More

I will just agree with all the excellent reviews before me. We found this to be delightful. Henrietta is on top of everything. She misses nothing. Staff were great, accommodations excellent. Food wonderful. The little bar is charming. It is a ways out of town but the bus service into Pitlochry is a snap. We went the other direction to... More

You are kind to write such comments - we really enjoyed having the 6 of you to stay and I know you enjoyed your McKinlay Kidd 'Seeing Scotland Differently' tour. I am so sorry, but the wifi speed is outwith our control - it will be years before we have anything like Fibre Optic Broadband here - they are just... More

The Killiecranky Hotel was a wonderful experience. If ever I return to the area, it is where I plan to stay! Breakfast and dinner were included in our stay. Both breakfast and dinner had many gluten free options. The Positives: 1. We were immediately greeted by Henrietta upon arrival. She was pleasant, expecting us, and we were quickly shown our... I get withdrawal symptoms when Henrietta and her wonderful team close for a well earned rest each January and always make sure I hot foot it through the door when she reopens in April. If you haven't discovered this little piece of paradise in Perthshire, I cannot recommend it too highly. It is a wonderful hybrid of all Henrietta's expertise... More

A 3 night Christmas stay is an experience not to be missed, comprising quality accommodation, meals, service, hospitality. All within a superb area offering a wealth of outdoor, and even retail, opportunities, in addition to including archeryf and walk to the Pitlochry pub! Henrietta and her staff are all first class - many thanks.

So rude not to have responded to such kind words. On the day your review was published I awake to a squelch as I put a foot out of bed (and it was my birthday!!) and discovered a flood which took all thoughts of business straight out of my head. The work was completed the day before the staff returned... More

This was our third Christmas in four years at The Killiecrankie Hotel and we were not disappointed. Great food from Mark Easton, excellent service from your engaging staff, a comfy and cosy bedroom, a lovely relaxing atmosphere, and....true Scottish hospitality with a modern twist. We will be back!

We stayed at the Killiecrankie for four nights from the 27th December sadly just missing the Hogmanay celebrations (another year perhaps). Just a few miles away from Pitlochry the location is perfect particularly if you enjoy walking and scenery as there are a number of beautiful walks literally straight out of the hotel. The best for us was over to... More
