We could not have asked for more after long trip from Uig, Skye, we had a friendly welcome at the Struan Inn which is in a peaceful location just off the A9 near Pitlochry. Large bedroom and shower room, on ground floor, easy walk in access for those with mobility difficulties, only a few steps from the bar and restaurant,... more

We stayed with our three children for one night in June 2008 on our way through to Inverness. The family room was a good size, and the beds were comfortable. Heather and her father were very welcoming, allowing our girls to borrow a dvd player and dvds to use in the family lounge next door to the bar (not sure,... more

With reference to the previous reveiw "Dont Go", as the owner of the Struan Inn I wish to add my comment regarding the events stated, as I remember the weekend concerned extremely well!! The gentlemen concerned arrived in the bar from the campsite at 10.50pm. My license for "Non Residents" stops at 11pm, therefor last orders had been called and... more

Richard, Heather and George are to be congratulated for their efforts - we were made to feel completely at home and Richard has a wee fan in our 4 year old daughter who... more

We found the Struan Inn to be a very homely and comfortable base from which to explore the area. The staff were very helpful and were only too willing to pass on their knowledge of the surrounding countryside. Richard, the barman, was an excellent host and joined in the banter of the small, but friendly bar. The rooms were of... more

stayed on onsite campsite next door. Not actually in the Hotel "Open to the public?" Rubbish! 2 of us (males) refused a drink at 10.45 p.m. Bar closed. later told by other campers that drinks served after we left. Saturday....4 adults and 1 child (5) stroll in at 8.15 p.m. After we order our drinks the same guy as last... more

There can be no better place from which to tour the Scottish Highlands than the Struan Inn, neatly tucked away in a quiet corner of Perthshire with convenient access to all the major tourist attractions. A few steps from the door of this welcoming B&B are spectacular walks along rocky cliffs and falls. Stella is a fine cook and accommodating... more
