I booked direct with the hotel and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I wanted a ground floor room and a walk in shower plus bath. Not possible but could have ground floor with over bath shower and they would put a bath mat in for my safety. We were greeted on arrival, asked if we wanted help with luggage,... More

My wife and I stayed 3 nights at the Westlands and enjoyed our stay. Good food particularly the chilli salmon. Friendly staff. Plenty of opportunity to chat with fellow diners. Great location for touring area. We went to Balmoral Castle.

We did not stay here, but we did use the hotel for a bar meal. We have used it in the past several times in the past, but we have not been in Pitlochry for three or four years. We found the food as good as it was last visit. The staff were friendly, and the prices reasonable. Hubby had... More

Chose this on the internet and we were not disappointed. Nice-looking big traditional Scottish stonebuilt hotel, along the main road into Pitlochry, but set back with lovely front lawn and patio area, so no traffic noise. Lovely welcome by David Cowan and staff. Beautifully run hotel, plenty of parking space, well appointed elegant rooms and furnishings, spacious and pleasant. Obviously... More

Had dinner with family in the Bistro, and although the menu was short, the quality of their produce was excellent. There was the usual steak pie, gammon steak etc but some other interesting dishes. The homemade desserts were to die for ...... and not to be missed. They also have a light lunch menu and then on Sundays they have... More

We were pleased with vegetables and a very interestingly baked salmon. This was a pre-theatre dinner for us, and the hotel made it possible to have a very enjoyable meal in the windowed area looking out onto the nice front garden. Good service, prompt, pleasant surroundings.

The best Sunday carvery we've ever had, bar none! To often with carvery lunches things get cold before serving, but not here, everything was pipping hot & delicious, the roast beef, roast lamb, roast tatties, yorkies the lot. We visited the Westlands (Sunday 24th May) on the recommendation of, Di and Graham, proprietors of the Claymore (next door) and were... More

Friendly attentive staff, extremely generous portions. Wide selection of puddings that were also delicious . Family booking aged 15 -71 years all accommodated for. Plenty of off road parking available, Sunday lunch served between 12-3pm I can highly recommend.
