Just a block from the river and a block from downtown Pitlochry (and right across from the distillery), this is a great location. Norbert was an excellent host and took great care of us. A stately manor home, we feel like we stepped back in time. One note, our twin beds were a bit "sway back." Excellent breakfast.

- Open from Mid-March to late October, Fasganeoin is an ideal choice for a holiday in the highlands. A warm and friendly atmosphere is the essence of our small hotel which is full of old fashioned charm and character. The hotel stands in one acre of mature grounds overlooking The Tummel Valley and hills beyond. The house is of special interest to Japanese. It is the house of architect Thomas Renny, whose great friend was 'Souseki Natsume' the great poet.(Renny was also a timber merchantto Japan & Russia in the 1800's with a fleet of ships in port Glasgow). Renny died in 1899. We have 8 individually furnished letting bedrooms with hospitality tray and hairdryer in each. Relax in our peaceful lounge overlooking the garden with a coffee and home-baking. Weather permitting, we are happy to serve you outside in the garden, if you wish. We offer secure private parking and a lock-up bicycle shed is available for our guests' use.
