We had two rooms, a twin for kids, double for us. Rooms comfortable if a bit cluttered- which made things a bit awkward. Kettle etc was on a shelf below a small table with no clear space to put it on to use it. Bed comfortably firm but we were all too warm with heavy quilts. Showers both pretty weak.... More

We had a good comfortable room in this friendly B&B. The dog was welcome too!!. The location is excellent for people and pets with nearby walks and easy access to the theatre and town. Check out the annex for longer stays it too looks promising. The owners are extremely pleasant and helpful. We had a wedding to attend in the... More

For a Bed and Breakfast, this has to be one of the best places to stay! And very good value for money! We enjoyed a very clean tidy room, most comfortable bed, and peace and quiet, superb views, clean fresh air, excellent sleep! In the morning a superb Scottish cooked breakfast, done and served in a traditional way, in a... More

Friendly hostess, comfortable room and excellent views. Breakfast was good. We had booked to stay here overnight as we were going to the festival theatre which a very pleasant 5 min walk away . If we go to the theatre again we now know an excellent place to stay . A mention also to "buzz" the adorable resident dog !

My wife and I stayed here in Sept, after a day at the Ryder Cup. We were met warmly by Lynn who suggested a restaurant for the evening. The room comfortable with a lovely view. Breakfast was good, well cooked, good quality and plenty of it.

The town was lovely, the house itself quite nice. We had booked 2 rooms, 1 for my wife and I the Main room and one with twin beds for our sons. The advertisement said wifi but we could not get wifi in our room, and our sons room they did manage to get it, but it dropped in and out.... More

Can't review the accommodation as we didn't get to stay. We had stayed several years ago so specifically looked for this B and B on this visit. Booked two days ahead of our trip on Woodburn House's own website. When we arrived the guest house owner was very taken aback and didn't know about the booking, despite us showing her... More

The b&b was full of character and we were made to feel very welcome by Lynn and her pooch Buzz. We were in the blue room, which had large, original, sash windows and a high ceiling. The decor was homely and eclectic and the hanging space and bathroom set out so as not to interfere with the original features. The... More

Me and my husband had a wonderful stay here. Very welcoming and lovely room. Breakfast was amazing! Definitely would recommend and return if we are ever back in Pitlochry. It is perfectly situated for the village and Dam and Fish ladder and walking distance from Theatre.

I have stayed at Woodburn several times on my trips home to Scotland from Australia and it was marvellous. Lyn is charming and friendly as were the other members of the family I met and Buzz, glad he's still around. What do people expect from a B&B..it is not a hotel, so take your own toiletries etc lol. I am... More
