We spent a few days here for a skiing trip and this place was perfect for our group of four. Extremely comfortable and well furnished and equipped. Welcome pack with bottle of wine, milk and coffee plus full larder of condiments and other non perishables. Bathroom had selection of toiletries too. Bedding and towels clean and fresh. Location good for... More

We stayed in this lovely cottage recently in order to ski at Glenshee, which is only 30 miles away. We found it to be very clean and comfortable, and extremely well equipped. There was even a bottle of wine in the fridge to welcome us. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it without hesitation.

We booked the Old Coach House originally for late January, but due to a change in our arrangements needed to move to a couple of weeks later - there was no problem with changing our booking and we were offered a couple of different weekends in Feb, but the owners did charge us an additional £12 to change weekends...which we... Thank you for your comments and feedback and we are glad you enjoyed your stay at the cottage. Just to clarify the admin charge regards changing dates, this is purely because of the admin involved with changing all our calendar dates on different sites as with all self-catering properties, also we turned down previous guests for your previous dates so... Booked the old coach house for a couple of nights during the festive period, while it is a beautiful cottage in a lovely area and fully equipped with a nice bottle of wine to greet us, we did find the cleanliness was poor all over and maybe previous occupants had a dog or something as the double bed was covered... Thank you for your review, and we are sorry you felt the cleanliness of the cottage wasn't up to our usual standards. We take cleanliness of the cottage very seriously and can only apologise if you felt it wasn't up to standard, the previous guests have obviously not respected our policy concerning pets staying at the cottage. We appreciate this... More

Just returned from a few days stay in November 2013. This cottage is a great place to stay, well equipped and is within easy walking distance to Pitlochry, Salmon Ladder, etc. Very warm and cosy for a winter break, dog friendly, nice garden, everything has been thought about. Stunning views and great walks in the area.

We've just spent three days at The Old Coach House and particularly enjoyed the central location and many 'homely touches' provided. It is certainly well equipped, though be prepared for the steep stairs and downstairs bathroom - not the best combination for middle of the night calls of nature! The two bedrooms were light and roomy, but while my husband... More

Stayed here for a long weekend at the beginning of may. The house is traditional and very well equipped with lots of small touches like wine, cereal, milk and toiletries. Lovely garden and great location for just parking the car for the weekend and walking if you wish. Probably one of the nicest self catering we have stayed in so... More
