I stayed one night at Ashbank House. It is a lovely b&b with beautiful views. My bike was safely secured in their garage and I was well looked after by Helen, the owner. I had the twin room which was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Well worth a visit!

Helen & her husband Bob run a very friendly & clean B&B. I origonaly had booked for three nights but as I was made to feel at home, I stayed for a extra 2 nights. The breakfast is very good & freshly cooked to order. I loved the local haggis that Helen recomended. I stayed in the single on suite... More

Helen the owner is very friendly, welcoming and well organised. We had the top floor suite, it was very clean and well presented with wonderful views! The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice available and Helen was very attentive. Would definitely recommend this B&B for both quality and price - everything surpassed our expectations!

This was amazing. I had asked for a single room and got a large very comfortable double with a separate bathroom across the landing with full tea facilites, I was up in the gods and so was completely private up there. When you opened the window you could hear the trickling of the water from the burn down below. You... More

Quiet, clean, comfortable lodging within easy walking distance down to town or up to the pub in Moulin. Helpful friendly hosts, plentiful breakfast. Top floor suite meant for people under 6 feet tall.

Beautiful rooms with very comfortable beds. Everything super clean and fresh. Very helpful and friendly host, and the garden is fantastic. A nice short walk down to the main street. The breakfast was very good - if you need gluten free bread, ask for it in advance, and Helen will arrange it for you. Highly recommended!

Helen, the host, is absolutely wonderful, very friendly and hospitable. The room was extremely nice, everything super clean and cute. Lovely garden. Very good food for breakfast. The village is also very nice for an afternoon stroll and a nice dinner. All in all, it was a great stay, nothing to complain about.

Highly recommend this B and B. Helen is a delightful host, and the breakfasts were fantastic. :-) We tried the baked omelettes and were not disappointed. The choice of breakfasts was good, and the portions more than filled our tummies for the day ahead! The homemade shortbread was lovely too. The room was very nice, and the private bathroom was great!... More

We stayed for two nights in Ashbank house. After a lot of driving this was a very pleasant surprise. Great welcome and a stunningly beautiful garden. For the rest, read the other reviews :-) Highly recommended.

Lovely 3 night stay with Bob and Helen. A great spot for walking the local hills and a nice distance from the town one way and the Moulin Inn the other; we'd recommend the inn for the ale and the food.... .and it's a downhill walk home ! Enormous breakfast which kept us going on the hills. We will definitely... More
