An absolutely brilliant night in this lovely hotel. The room was finished to an exceptionally high standard, and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was also superb!! Couldn't recommend highly enough if you're thinking of staying in Pitlochry.

Stayed here for two nights, good welcome from Celine, room clean, cosy, warm, comfy beds, very nice bathroom, lovely decor. Very good choices for breakfas and well served by Celine and her staff will definiitely book again if we are in the area. The only complaint we have are the price of the drinks not just Mckays also other places, £4.50 for a pint of... More

My partner and I stopped hear with our twin babies after reading some of there good reviews. Unfortunately our experience was terrible! The only reason we gave any stars was because the waitresses were so lovely and apologetic. When we arrived we quickly ordered at the bar as we had 2 hungry toddlers. We realised we had forgot to order... More

Had an overnight stay at The McKays on Saturday. Was there with my daughter and its the first time I have stayed at the McKays despite visiting Pitlochary on many occasions over the years. Very pleasantly surprised. Staff welcoming and friendly. Our room was spacious and very clean. I would definitely recommend a stay at the McKay.

Very friendly staff, great food and cosy room. We stayed for 1 night as a gift from family. Lovely hotel would definitely book again. Room was small but bright and tastefully decorated. We had a dinner and breakfast included and could not fault the food. Excellent customer service throughout our stay.

Stayed in mackays for birthday treat. On arrival we were greeted by Celine who was warm and welcoming. We were shown to our room which was large and spotless. As was the en-suite. For our meal We had the rib eye steak which was excellent although if I could pick a fault I would have liked perhaps a mushroom or... More

Really enjoyed our stay. Snow outside but nice and warm inside. Lovely room along with excellent food. Really friendly staff. To cap it all we sat in the bar enjoying some super music. Snowing when we got there but the place was lovely and warm, both the bar and our room

My husband and myself stayed at the two bedroom cottage (Athol cottage) for three nights in January. We were joined for one night by my sister and her young son. The cottage is next to the hotel and has plenty of car parking space. The standard of it could be easily made into a four star with some work. The... More

Having visited the hotel on a voucher deal with dinner and breakfast included. The food was excellent and the staff very welcoming. I would pay the extra to upgrade to a bigger room however as the one we had was very cosy and there was a tendency to hit your shins on the bed frame! Having said that I would... More
