We stayed a couple of nights. Parking is next to the property at the side which was a big plus. Pleasantly surprised to have the room at the front which over looked the main road and was directly above their fish & chip shop next door. Loved the room decor even though this was not our taste and may not... More

This is a good centrally located guest house. Our room looked over the main road but it wasn't too noisy our friends had a room at the back and they slept well. The rooms are very clean, no extras like shampoo etc, but that's ok. We didn't meet the owners but the girl on reception was friendly. Breakfast was a... More

A very quaint, sweet little place on the main road. The location is great - you're next to some good pubs and restaurants. The rooms are a little pokey, but they're clean, warm and comfortable - the guest house serves as a perfect base for exploring the area. I didn't hear much noise at all from the nearby pubs so... We stayed here for the Forbidden Forest Experience, which was amazing! This place is so sweet and quaint. It is what I think of when I think of a bed and breakfast. The owners were so good to us. They really went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful stay. We had some special requests and... More

Good value and quality place to stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly. For the price, this was very good value for money. We stayed for the weekend to visit the enchanted forest. The start point was at the Fishers hotel just down the road so it was very handy.

We have returned to this restaurant, yearly, for the past four years and have previously enjoyed the steak pie meal immensely. It used to be entitled an 'Alexander Graham Bell' speciality, served with plenty of very good chips and a very tasty and well seasoned steak pie and our soup was always served with a roll. This year, we anticipated... More

We'e stayed here on a couple of occasions as it is right in the centre of Pitlochry ) although that it is not a large town by any means) and is handy for all the usual tourist amenities. Can be noisy at night with the local crowd in the pub/hotel next door but at £70 per room per night I... More

We stayed at Macdonalds for 4 nights (2 couples) in August 2009 not December 2012 (I did not have a choice for 2009 below) and used it as a base to travel around the area. Our rooms faced the front, although a tad small, it was spotless and comfortable. It is a family run business run by Neil and his... More

Had tickets for enchanted forest so opted to have a meal in Pitlochry first and choice this restaurant. Looked nice and friendly from the outside, on entering friendly welcome and advised to have a seat anywhere on the left hand side. Waitress brought menus over, left us a few minutes and returned to take our order. Waitress was foreign, I... More
