We have stayed here at Kathy and Dave's Guest House several times and always enjoy the whole experience. A warm welcome, delicious breakfasts, comfortable room and the perfect place to stay. Walking, hiking, sightseeing, shopping and the theatre are all nearby. Local pubs and stunning scenery all make the journey so worthwhile. We shall be there again at the end... More

We loved staying at Tir Aluinn for a few nights in August. We spent our days out hiking or on long cycle rides so it was great to come back to the b&B for a good night's sleep at the end of the day. Beds were comfy and rooms warm and very clean. Breakfasts were very good and Kathy's porridge... More

Wow, what a great choice we made!! We stayed with Dave and Kathy in mid November for two nights. Our party consisted of three couples, including my mother and father. We were all immediately made to feel at home by Dave's warm welcome and tour of the house. After hiking to Edruadour and grabbing some dinner in Moulin, we came... More

We stayed at Tir Aluinn for one night, in order to attend the musical version of Whisky Galore at the Festival Theatre. What a treasure of a guest house, with very friendly and helpful hosts, Kathy and Dave. We arrived later than planned, as we had missed a train connection in Glasgow, and Kathy came out to greet us when... More

The Tir Aluninn is a lovely B&B and I would highly recommend it. I stayed here for 2 nights and the owner couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. I was feeling ill while I was here and had the start of the flu and the owner kept saying that I was welcome to go and get food and bring... More

Got a lovely welcome from the owners when I visited with my two children (aged 6 & 8). A beautiful view over the valley from our bedroom window and a great breakfast. Rooms were spacious, clean and well priced. Would go there again, very relaxing enviroment for a night away from home. More

We can only recommend this lovely place. Kathy and Dave made us feel at home. The rooms are very fine standard and the breakfast very good. With a long day ahead of us we paid for lunchpackages - and what a treat - there were plenty for the whole day. Thank you for at lovely stay and good conversations about... More

Tir Aluinn Guest House is a charming and very welcoming place located in a quiet neighbourhood just 7 mins walk from the town centre. Our spotless en-suite room on the first floor was spacious and bright with very comfortable beds, TV, WIFI and hospitality tray. The big breakfast left no wishes unfulfilled - it was just wonderful. Our hostess Kathy... More

A fabulous B&B. Kathy really went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and breakfast was fantastic but it is the extra touches that set this place apart. The weather was dreadful when we were there but Kathy let us check out late, looked after our bags for us during the day... More

Nothing was too much trouble for kathy and Dave to make this the most enjoyable stay. Rooms all beautifully clean and breakfast beyond excellent! So many extra touches to make you feel you were visiting friends! They know and appreciate it is the little things that make all the difference, box of tissues to replenish used ones, cork screw for... More
