we use this lodge because of the convenient location on the road north, clean and welcoming, pleasant staff and a great pub adjoining for excellent meals. we had two rooms for other members of the family and we were all comfortable.

Stayed here for one night (that was more than enough) No soap in shower dispenser and only found this out when in shower After getting hair wet discovered there was no hairdryer in room No telephone to contact reception The room we were in was for disabled people - bathroom had an emergency cord but if one had a problem... Good place to stop off when visiting the Highlands and is easily accessible from the A9. Unfortunately we were working and didn't have time to have a look around but the hotel has been refurbished recently and is very clean, easy parking and would recommend. Pity the pub next door doesn't open for breakfast.

We stayed one night here on our way to the north of Scotland. The woman at reception was very polite and helpful and we were happy with our room. We had a pleasant meal at the pub next door. We had a great night's sleep in a comfortable bed. The shower was very good too. We would definitely stay here... More

We were told we had been given a disabled room on the ground floor although we did not book one. Large room and bathroom. All a bit worn now but clean and will imprive with the facelift. One unpleasant problem we encountered was a soiled duvet cover.I wont go into detail but I suspect it had been washed but not... More

the hotel next door is over priced and pretentious , a 5 min drive into Perth will get you an excellent takeaway with choices ranging from fish n chips to Indian to KFC or McDonalds or pizza . and the pizza is a delivery service

i am rating this against other Travelodges i have stayed in. I used to really like this stopover, but boy has it gone downhill. The room was okay, but was a bit grubby in places, most noticeably was the toilet pan, it had quite bad brown staining under the waterline. For goodness sake, cant the cleaners use a toilet brush... Stayed here on my way back home from a job in the north of Scotland. I was really tired when I arrived and the very friendly and helpful receptionist made booking in easy and managed to swap me to a ground floor room (hate being upstairs). Rooms good, as you'd expect, nice bathroom with a walk in shower - far... More

Spent two nights here while in Scotland for a family wedding. It's a bit rough around the edges (e.g. worn carpets in the hallway, stained carpet in the bedroom, peeling paint in the bathroom) but, as the posters all over the public areas tell you, it will be upgraded (along with all other Travelodges) at some point in the not...
