Started off really well and Fiona friendly. After complaints about heating, went down hill.To be fair Fiona did take ill and was in hospital for a while and breakfast times were moved which was far too early for us. Room was freezing as was shower room. Could see breath in front of us. Had to buy slippers and warm jogging... More

Visited this bed and breakfast for one night. Ok not expensive £70 but room was poor, tiny bathroom. Very noisy from main road traffic. Shocked to find breakfast only 7.30-8.30 on a Sunday!!! Then told we need to be out the room by 10am!! So no I never had breakfast! No I won't be returning or recommending !

Stayed for one night in early October and arrived at 2200hrs after a long journey . We thought that this was a bit late but Fiona was not at all put out. Finding dog friendly accommodation is a real bonus. The room was comfortable and in good order. The location is easy to find and quiet. Breakfast was good with... More

Stayed here for one night on a whisky trail holiday. The welcome from Fiona was friendly, rooms were quite large and very comfortable. Breakfast was well presented and was locally sourced, the only niggle was that I selected only three items from the multi-item breakfast menu and was surprised that I did not get a little extra of the ones... My husband and I stayed here on the 14th Aug. The owner Fiona was really welcoming and friendly. Our room was as you would expect for an old house, reasonable size, high ceilings, perfectly adequate. Standard double bed, tv, tea and coffee making machine. Fiona doesn't like long life milk so brings a jug of fresh milk, which I really... More

Booked a double room and a single room for 3 nights during the rewind festival. Our usual hotel was cancelled due to illness. Location was a short walk to the concert hall to get the direct bus to the festival. Fiona made us feel very welcome from our arrival to our departure. Our room was clean and spacious. Nothing was... We had a great nights stay with the dog, we were made very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was amazing, I'd definitely recommend the cooked breakfast. This guesthouse was excellent value for money and I would come back in a heartbeat.

Stayed here last week for 2 nights and we were greeted very warmly by Fiona on arriving. Good offroad parking aswell. We were shown to a lovely room at the back of the house, which was very nice, with a lovely comfortable bed and also 2 comfy seats. Fiona kindly showed us where to find the wifi code and also... We spent the first night of our holiday here following a long drive, our welcome was very warm and friendly, the rooms were well stocked with tea and coffee, the beds were very comfortable and the food wonderful. Able to use WIFI to download e-mails was a plus. I understand that the owners have only recently started in the business... More
