We have used this hotel many times both for overnight stays and frequently for evening meals when entertaining friends. It is not what it used to be. There is a lack of attention to detail now. While it is still a nice place to be it is not special any more which is a shame as there is much that... More

We have now stayed at The Parklands Hotel twice and have a third stay booked. It is very comfortable with spacious rooms and king sized beds. It is tastefully furnished. The staff are very friendly and accommodating . The owner is available and very helpful. The hotel is peaceful yet only a short walk from the centre of Perth. There... More

My husband and I stayed for one night when we were touring Scotland. The hotel itself if charming and our bedroom was roomy and comfortable. The staff were lovely and we spent a great hour in the bar chatting to them. The evening meal was delicious - we both said one of the best steaks we have ever eaten. We... More

In a nice spot in Perth very close to train station and shops etc. Nice polite staff, shame the so called champagne in the room on arrival was actually prosecco but was ok. Bathroom was clean and ok space wise... More

My husband ordered lamb which was served with the sauce split. On querying the quality of the sauce the reply from the waitress was that it was fine when it left the kitchen. My husband did not want to make a fuss so suggested to the waitress that she should ask the chef if he thought that the sauce was... More

I have very much enjoyed our stay at the Parklands. A cozy little hotel run by professional and kind owners and staff. The rooms are of good size and perfectly kept, the restaurant is truly excellent, the location perfect. If you ever stay in Perth, I highly recommend it.

Service with a smile, very quiet in restaurant , wedding and birthday party in next room. Could bit fault service or quality of food. Great meal. Would recommend. Only fault was lager , only type was Barcelona. £4.20 a pint. Not the best.

We spent 2 nights in this hotel. The first night we chose to fine in. Not many diners and the food was acceptable, but I thought was on the pricey side for what we got (mains in the £18 range aren't out of the way, but portions were small. The cooked breakfast I felt was measly. There just wasn't much... More

A grand old hotel conveniently near the station and town centre. Comfortable rooms with good amenities. Good and friendly service. Food was very great and bar prices very reasonable. Would definitely stay there again!
