Single overnight stay for onward travel. Totally adequate. Good breakfast. helpful night staff. in need of refurb, but for my overnight purposes totally adequate and at £30 B&B how can you argue with that price.

Dear DrDave Scotland,
Many thanks for your review on T.A. - glad to see that you were looked after well. We are embarking on a refurbishment program - less than half of the rooms to do. I hope you will keep on visiting to see the progress being made.
Many thanks
Mike Sheffield

When booking this hotel I looked at the website to look at the pictures of the hotel because I am not a fan of the older looking hotels and with the pictures it made the hotel look modem and stylish. The day we arrived in Perth after 6 hours on the train, we took a taxi and arrived at the...

We stayed at this hotel as a stopover on a lengthy journey back from John O' Groats to Cambridge. As such, our expectations were not particularly significant as we were simply after somewhere clean and functional close to Perth train station. The room looked like something out of the late 1980's, all chintz and flowery wall paper. Our request for a double bed had been ignored and we were not even advised at check in so we...

We told the hotel my husband was in a wheelchair and asked if they had a suitable room.
What a room!. So well thought out, spacious, en-suite completely disabled friendly.
Nothing was any trouble to the staff, each one of whom was as...

We stayed here for 1 night over valentines weekend. We had tried to book other hotels but they were either full or way too expensive. Check in isn't until after 4pm which is quite late I think but we tried checking in about 12.30 but our room wasn't ready so we went down the town. The main part of the...

second stay at this hotel, we paid £65.00 for us both bed and breakfast, the room was a bit old fashioned but clean and warm, staff are friendly and no problem making us supper as we arrived quite late, the breakfast was lovely, just one complaint though, the night porter had put salt in the sugar bowls, but the lady...
