In 2008 the Credit Crunch and for the first time many many years we didn't go abroad in the Summer. Instead we've a close friend with a cottage she regularly visits in the Isle of Skye, which she let us have for a week of pure Adventure, Hiking, and Climbing! (A Must Holiday destination for active, and sometimes mad, teenagers!)... more

The hotel is well situated near the centre of town. Check-in was OK but we were given a room on the second (top) floor and no offer of help with the luggage.. Surprisingly, the hotel does not have a lift. The room was average. Flat screen TV with some digital channels and lots of opportunities to spend money on Pay... more

A very attractive hotel, nicely situated for exploring Perth and the stunning countryside that surrounds it. Our room, though comfortable, clean and well furnished, was certainly not the quiet one we had particularly requested. Our sleep was wrecked on each of the 3 nights of our stay by noisy, inconsiderate revellers returning from the towns bars etc and socialising loudly... more

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend break in March. Our initial impression of the hotel was good - very helpful staff and lovely reception and bar area. Unfortunately no double rooms were available for us however we were more than happy to stay in a twin room. This proved to be rather a trial. On arriving in... more

Stayed here for a single night on a business trip and found the hotel perfect for my requirements. The hotel was just a short walk from the centre of town, the room was an adequate size, very clean and tidy with all the expected facilities - large comfortable double bed, kettle, iron, trouser press, lcd tv, internet connection, decent bathroom... more

Stayed here a couple of times now as we attend an annual event held in the town. All of our stays have been ok, the rooms we've had are comfortable and well appointed. I think the rooms in the older part of the hotel are slightly smaller than in the annexe next to it. Had one meal in the hotel... more

Had an wonderful break with friends.Staff were very helpful.Meals which were part of our package were well presented and thoroughly enjoyable. The restaurant/dining room was spacious and welcoming. Our room was clean and fresh but unfortunately the radiator had indigestion and rumbled occassionally through the night! All the waiters, waitresses, bar staff and particularly Brian(Ricky Gervais lookalike)the front of house manager were very... more

Hotel very central - staff at desk very friendly and helpful. Nice area for bar with sky tv as you walk in. Rooms very well laid out - iron & ironing board in room which was welcomed! Nice pleasant stay - will be back! more

My husband and I stayed here last week for 1 night. It was booked very quickly as we happened to be passing through Perth, needed accommodation, and remembered that we had stayed here several years ago. We paid £80 for B&B in a double room. The room was fine (nothing special) although the bathroom seemed very old and in severe... more

Stayed here for one night in Sept, chose because it was central and having stayed once before at that time it was ok. Still find the location perfect within Perth, nice building from outside and like the old watermill part of the hotel but thats about the only positives. The room we booked allegedly was executive, thats a joke, very... more
