I stayed here August 2014 with a group of friends whilst motorcycling. The hotel is located in the centre of Perth and is easy to get to and has convenient parking. The room was clean and to a good standard but other parts of the hotel were dated and even shabby. The Bar... Very poor. Ran out of cider on... More

The location is fairly convenient, within walking distance of the center. The only charm is the mill run that you can see under the lobby. Our room was pokey and chilly with a radiator that didn't work. We called reception and they brought us an electric heater that helped. the lighting was dim and there was only one chair. The... More

My wedding breakfast and reception was recently held in the Perth Mercure Hotel. The hotel was very accomodating with any specific requests we had and the staff ran the event with a high level of professionalism and quality. Any problems encountered during the planning or execution of the event were small and dealt with quickly and effectively. Being an old... More

The hotel looks nice from outside and the reception, it was interested to see stream went through the bottom of the hotel through glass. Restaurant served nice breakfast. Its location is in central Perth and it is easy to walk around Perth. Room itself, especially the bath needs to be replaced. Room is a bit small and it was above... More

Thank you for your recent review of the Mercure Perth hotel. I was pleased that you liked the traditional style of the hotel and found the mill race running underneath the hotel to be interesting. I am sorry you were disturbed by fellow guests. We do request that all guests are respectful of each other's peace and quiet. We are... More

To be fair if there was a 'Good' option on Trip Advisor I would have gone for that. While we had a comfortable stay I'm not sure it merits 'Very Good'. Although I have noted restrictions around the listed building it is a bit of a pain taking your luggage up two flights of stairs in the absence of a... More

Thank you for your recent review of the Mercure Perth hotel. I was pleased in the main that you enjoyed your stay with us and thank you for the very constructive comments. The lighting in the restaurant was due to be enhanced over the next couple of weeks anyway, so this will address the concerns you had with that and... More

I was disgusted. My colleague and I booked a twin room. We were given a room for people with disabilities. The bathroom was a dirty shower room. I pulled the light switch, but it came of in my hand. In the dark, I later found this was the disabled alarm, which had clearly failed to function. Fortunately I was not... More

A really nice hotel with lovely helpful staff. The lounge and bar areas are very nice. The room are clean and spacious. The only thing that let the hotel down is that the windows need a good paint and the grout/seals in the bathroom was dirty and this is a real shame.

Thank you for your recent review of the Mercure Perth hotel. I was delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us and found the staff to be polite and friendly. After 2 enjoyable stays in the Nottingham Mercure we were very disappointed with this hotel. We could find no mention of the absence of a lift on the website - my husband is 83 and this was significant. Our bedroom was as we expected but the dining room was gloomy and over hot. There was little food left after a large... More
