We only stayed the one night but regretfully having stayed in a Premier Inn the previous night and having paid more for this ,it was greatly disappointing in comparison. The initial and lingering issue was the smell of dampness and over cooked vegetables from the Carvery which lingered all afternoon. The room was mismatched, tired ,shabby and a view of rubbish and... Asked what room we would like. Quiet and low floor. Given front and 2nd floor. Swapped to rear and 3rd floor. Noise from nightclubbers. Not good when you have a 300 mile drive home. The Lodge is in the middle of an upgrade.

It may be a little unkind reviewing this Travelodge as it is due a refurbishment and as a listed building the room sizes - especially the bathroom - may not be able to be changed much. But looking past the mis-matched furniture, there are still some things needing looked at. For example, the enormous cobweb which hung from the centre... More

This was a very pleasant stay. The rooms are excellent and the hotel is handy for Perth city centre. It is close to all the shops and restaurants. The staff in reception were very friendly and helpful. In all a very enjoyable experience.

Myself and my hubby stayed at the hotel for one night . It was clean and comfy beds . staff where very helpful and friendly . For a convenient overnight stay for a theatre attendance to save a drive home at night this is a good choice of hotel. Basic but clean and comfortable, and very quiet, does what it says on the tin! Would use again if in the area.

In major need of overall. Very dated hotel. Staff seemed to find everything funny when we checked in - not sure why. The room was in the basement. Smelt very fresh and beds freshly made. Room was cold on arrival. Turned up the tiny radiator but the room didn't warm until middle of the night. Was next to a main... More

We stayed here for 2 nights Thursday and Friday during half term. We'd stayed here previously and I was quite taken by the small hotel atmosphere of this smaller Travelodge and chose to go back again this year. Tucked up in bed relaxing after a long days sightseeing watching some telly, I hear someone trying to unlock a door. I... More

We have stayed in this hotel over a dozen times as we like staying in Perth for a night every so often . The value , service and quality has stayed consistent over the years. The location is excellent and the Toby Inn merges perfectly with the hotel.
