Good location and friendly, helpful staff but that's all that can be recommended. I'm sure our twin room had children's beds. They were so small there was hardly room to turn over without being in danger of falling out. We were on the top floor and the window "for health and safety reasons" would only open a couple of inches... More

Old hotel taken over by Travelodge and in need of a lot of TLC. Car park was littered especially around bin area. Our room small, noisy and not suitable for two people. Location for City centre good. On this occasion poor value for money.

The location was great and the staff. The bed and coverings new, so a comfortable night. Too many stairs and steps and no lift. The room we had was rather shabby. Given a family room as late arrival! A lovely old building but we felt the rooms needed much updating. Have stayed at other Travelodges, same price but good decor!

We stayed for 2 nights in a family room. Reading other reviews, we must have been lucky. The room was lovely and fresh, new beds and the shower room/ toilet were sparkling. The Receptionist when we checked in was friendly and efficient, the Toby Carvery is what you should expect, good food at a reasonable price. The Breakfast for £3.99... More

I have stayed in various Travelodge's and have stayed in the Isle of Skye about 3 times. The rooms have been upgraded and are excellent. Well fitted out, comfortable beds and good value. The staff, from the friendly Receptionist at check in to the Room staff were helpful, friendly and efficient.

This place is the pits. We had booked this place 6 months in advance because of the proximity to a conference venue. The FIRST room we had (105) on the second floor was small, damp, musty and shabby. The next morning when we went to use the shower the water pressure was so low that i couldnt get the soap out of... More

The travelodge is very jaded and needs totally upgrading. The carpets were threadbare, the curtain hanging off the rails and the room smelt damp and musty due to the bathroom fan not working. It was noisy outside and inside. It's joined to a Toby carvery which offers good value for money.

Pretty basic rooms but meal was not too bad. Value for money I suppose though. Staff were friendly and helpful. Car parking a bit odd but it worked ok. Would go back again. Hotel in a pretty poor state inside and out - restaurant was very busy doing sunday meals and they were value for money with as much to... More

We had problems with the Car Park Fees and difficulty getting our money reimbursed after inadvertently paying £5 when we arrived. At check in you are given a Free Pass, no mention of this in the car park. The room was booked last minute, so we had a back room, which was very quiet. The hotel is due for refurbishment... More

I stayed overnight with a friend as we were visiting friends in town. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Very basic but everything I needed was there, even wifi. A lift would have been nice and had I known there wasn't one I would have requested a room on the ground floor. The gal at the counter did help us... More
