Nice room although, it was severely cold!! I know its winter but my partner had to sleep with her jacket on and it really should be warmer with heating. Only one radiator in room which couldn't be adjusted and questioned owner with no response to improve heating for warmer room. Other than that it was nice

This guest house is very central to shops in the town centre. The room was very clean and comfortable. I received a confirmation e mail with the details of how to get in to the house (via a key pad). The keys were available in the hall. Price was reasonable and there was tea and coffee facilities in the room... More

Me, my partner and 2 sons aged 13 & 11 stayed here for 2 nights at the end of June and found Mick the owner to be very friendly and accommodating. Everything we asked for was supplied and left in the room for our arrival. The room was very well decorated and clean although was quite warm during the night.... More

The guest house itself is situated on a main road, in between a snooker hall and a building site and is opposite a club, but since we were situated at the rear of the building it was surprisingly quiet. The day before our stay we were sent a text with a door code and informed that our room key would... More

The club next door was blasting out very loud music until 2:30 in the morning. It was really bad, no chance of sleep. The room was very clean and well decorated, pity about the lack of sleep. One to avoid.

This was the only accommodation we could get during the Commonwealth Games so I suppose the large hike in the price was to be expected. The website said there was parking round the back of the guest house and the picture of the guest house displayed a sign confirning this. For that reason I decided to drive the 8 hours... More

Newly decorated, clean and comfortable. Understood there was no breakfast, however were supplied with orange juice, a croissant and a cereal bar more than ample and a nice surprise and in addition to tea and coffee and biscuits - ample parking opposite and close to all amenities. The area is currently under construction and renewal but has no effect of... More

The room was clean, tidy and comfortable. We saw nobody at all for the two nights. We had tea and coffee facilities, but used the milk available to us the first night, nobody filled up the basket so we couldn't have any more unless we bought some, as there was no fridge there was no point. We were also told parking at... More

We booked to stay here as we could go by public transport into Glasgow for 4 days of the Commonwealth Games. I booked this because it said private parking - that is no longer true and we had to hope there would be an available place in the public parking opposite. We should have been informed of this. We were... More

Small spartan bedrooms with no communal rooms and no staff on premise. No food or drink and insecure car parking in a depressed area. We gave up our money rather than stay there. Very disappointing - avoid.
