I stayed here for one night and i prefer staying at a B&B rather thank hotels. The owners were very welcoming and the room was clean, spacious and well equipped. Great value for money. Wifi was really strong sign. Brilliant breakfast too so great place to stay!

For business purposes we booked a room at this guest house. We booked over the internet and received a conformation email which stated we had reserved the room but needed to pay on arrival. Whilst on the way to the guest house we received a phone call stating that our reserved room had been given away to someone else. THIS... More

Being along the main road and with sufficient parking on-site this was a convenient location for our Schotland tour. A stop-over on the way to Inverness, with very famous Johnstons of Elgin woolfactory who offered an interesting free tour. The owner was very friendly and showed us the room, but was a bit vague about dining opportunities. We did not... More

The Pines Guest House is an elegant home, conveniently located, and with an easily accessible u-shaped drive. The rooms are large (we occupied 3 of them) and beautifully appointed. Our host was friendly and helpful. We got off to a good start the next day with an excellent breakfast.

Beautiful house. Bedroom was spacious with a wonderfully comfortable bed, a lush duvet, tea & coffee facilities with biscuits. Toiletries were provided. There was an excellent breakfast - fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurt, and a cooked breakfast menu (with vegetarian options). Five star.

We spent several nights at The Pines Guest House with family & friends while in Elgin for a family wedding. The owner and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The house is in a perfect location for exploring the area and within easy walking distance of the town. The house is bright & airy, tastefully decorated and the bedroom was... More

We stayed for one night in August. The location and room were excellent, a very relaxing night after a long days travel. We had a family room even though there was just the two of us. The hosts were very helpful and the breakfast was very good. I thought that the price for the accommodation was very reasonable, when compared... More

Spent a very pleasant night in The Pines Guest House. The room was spacious, tastefully furnished and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and to top it all, the tariff was surprisingly low. Situated in an area where the east, north and west coasts are accessible, this guest house is well worth another visit.

Our reason for staying in Elgin was to attend the Highland games at Gordon Castle and to explore the area, and this was a good choice for three nights. A very nice room in a spacious and airy house with the perfect full Scottish breakfast. Late arrivals did disturb one evening, but otherwise everything was fine. An enjoyable stay.
