We are local seafood suppliers to the Mansefield Hotel and have had a business relationship going back over 20 years. Our customers regularly stay at the hotel and have become known to the management and staff, our award winning smoked salmon and seafood is listed on the menu and we are proud of this recognition. I wanted to record on... More

I stayed at the Mansefield for the first time this year, although I've been staying regularly in Elgin since 2008. I'd always stay at the Mansion House Hotel nearby, not just force of habit, but because it really is a great hotel. That was fully booked for this trip, so the Mansefield it was for two nights. It's an old... More

Having stayed away in hotels for most of my working life I can wholeheartedly say that The Mansefield Hotel in Elgin is easily at the top of my preferred list. This beautiful hotel is complemented with friendly, welcoming staff who go above and beyond the call of duty to make your stay that little bit special - from the reception... More

I stayed here in July and can't really say it was good value. The room was very nice and spotlessy clean. But beyond that, i cannot say that I was happy. I really did not like the fact that the restaurant was not open and I had to walk outside and around the corner to the Mezzo for dinner. Service... More

We stayed over Friday evening and yes the Hotel was lovely, the room spacious and very clean, the bathroom again was spotless and well appointed. I was really disappointed to discover that my room was above the function suite where there was a wedding going on. The whole room vibrated with the bass noise and the screaming through a microphone... More

Excellent 4 star hotel central to town. Ate in the restaurant which was comfortable. The food was excellent and the staff extremely welcoming and helpful. They also have a brasserie which is attached to the hotel which was also excellent. Usual 4 star prices for drinks (not cheap, however there is a Wetherspoons within a short walking distance. There is... More

I was reluctant to write, as adverse comments hurt, but sometimes need to be said ...... we too are a private family business and have learnt the consumer nowadays demands more for less and are not shy in informing you when things don't meet their expectations...... so feedback is important, good or even bad , sadly. Having previously travelled the... More

I recently stayed over night at the Mansefield and I must say it was the worst sleep I have ever had. Lack of air conditioning in the room meant it was like a Furness and the bed was so uncomfortable I chose to sleep on top of the quilt on the floor. However, breakfast was served earlier for us in...
