Stayed here to attend a wedding and the experience was not the best. Standard rooms overpriced, never got a discount for being part of the wedding guests. Receptionist could not explain us the reason and no duty manager available when checking out. On the day of arrival we have tried to eat at the Mezzo Eaterie, and the experience was... more

The Mansefield is maintained to a high standard and couldn't be faulted for cleanliness. Staff were friendly and courteous and seemed keen to help when required. The room was larger than expected with nice touches such as an ipod dock/radio, 32inch tv and a couple of bottles of water in the fridge. One welcome thing was that the room was... more

Knowing we would be traveling through Elgin on our train chasing trip we asked our friend to find us somewhere for an over night stop. He recommended a night in the Mansfield and we ended up in a suite as a treat. A mixture of traditional meets modern as one part of the building is an old Manse while the... more

I stayed in the Mansefield for 1 night whilst travelling through on business The hotel has a large car park and the public spaces are very nicely decorated. For £80 B&B I got a large room with a double and single bed with beautiful bedding and curtains - very luxurious. The room had an ipod dock alarm clock and Freeview... more

Good quality, friendly hotel with nicely appointed, recently refurbished rooms. IPod clock radio, corner bath and flat screen tv all included in my standard room. Handy for the town centre where the Al Bahar and Qismat Curry Restaurants are both well above average. more

When looking for alternatives in the area there is just nothing else in the same class. All rooms refurbed now I believe and to a good modern standard. The bar is excellent with a huge selection of Whisky and Brandy. Food is great as well excellent breakfast and while the prices for dinner may be more expensive than the competition... more

We have just returned from our second stay at the Mansefield, 31st Dec 06 - 2nd Jan 07. My wife and I along with some of our friends paid our first visit to the Mansefield @ the same time last year for the New Year celebration function. From the time we arrived the staff could not have been more helpful... more

I booked this hotel on their website, which tells of a refurbished hotel, with individually designed bedrooms. All the photos suggest this too - a real boutique gem. However, when I arrived, the room I had was out of 1970s Eastern Europe - very dated, very old fashioned, not at all a nice place to stay. Not that the room... more

We used The Mansefield Hotel after being treated shoddily by another large hotel in Elgin. We wanted to book our Wedding and had not been into the Hotel since its expansion to include the new rooms and conference centre. Wow, we were blown away! The service is first class, Management and Staff cannot do enough for you. Their rooms are... more
