We stayed here on our trip through Scotland. The owner was friendly and prompt when we arrived. Our room had enough beds for the four of us, and a very nice and clean bathroom. The dining area had quite a few small round tables in it, and the breakfast was marvelous, large and hot! We enjoyed walking through the neighborhood... more
we had a fantastic stay here in november ,we booked for two night and when we arived were given an up grade to the new annexe ,the bathroom in the new annexe was just fab,.a bath and a powerfull shower over it. but the best thing was the breakfast (not greasy)hot and well presented,we would say this guest house is... more
The Southbank is a beautiful Georgian house situated on a quiet street. With ample free parking. Once again the fourth time at this guest house and not the last!!!Since our last visit the Proprietors have upgraded and now have an annexe containing three bedrooms which are lovely decorated, clean and have beautiful bathrooms with both bath and overhead power shower.... more
This Guest House is ideally located in a quiet street within very easy walking distance of the town centre and railway station. The room we stayed in was spacious, clean and had a new ensuite bathroom. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome. I would certainly stay there again and would recommend it... more
