We had our wedding a few days ago in this extraordinary and wonderful B & B. It was our first trip to Scotland and it is unforgettable. Andreas, the proprietor was very helpful in preparation of the marriage. Both owners, Andreas and Kris, presented themselves to the ceremony as witnesses. An ascent of the tower and the ringing of the... More

Andreas and Kris made our day very special. As our guest arrived they were all greeted by Andreas given a bit of history about the church and shown to their rooms. We had a delicious 3 course dinner for 12 people prepared by Kris. Andreas lit the wood burning stove and the main living room was toasty warm were we... More

Was easy enough to find using my Garmin and following road signs. Was greeted warmly by owner. The three of us (mother, grandmother -84, and myself) arrived at the same time of a German couple. We were each shown to our respective rooms, and the lounge areas. They presented us with a breakfast list as well as discussed the various... More

I had 3 days with 2 friends at this unusual B&B. It was no problem to find this cosy place with my TOMTOM! The whole church is lovingly decorated by Andreas & Kris - 2 nice guys - always friendly and helpful. Great breakfast and delicious dinner ( 3 course ) - prepared by Kris. Every morning the guests were... More

We only had one night in this quaint, interesting B&B. The conversion of the old church works well and our room upstairs had a lovely view of the garden and countryside beyond. We were travelling with another couple (also upstairs room) so sharing the bathroom was not a problem. We booked in for dinner - lovely meal cooked by Kris... More

We had the great opportunity to stay at this beautiful B&B for one night (wish we could have stayed for a few more). Welcome was warm, as always in "Gods country". Andreas and Kris are two very nice guys. Informative, polite, cunning and ever so friendly. The surroundings are out of this world: Meadows, sheep, cornfields, and in late afternoon... More

We were just travelling through to northern Scotland and liked to stay a little out of town. So the idea of an old church just out of town seemed ideal. ----- IT WAS-----.Therefore we then found we could stay another night (if we squeezed our itinerary) as the accommodation was wonderful. The care of the proprietors, the comfort of the... More

We loved this place! The atmosphere and history are wonderful! We took a week long trip of the highlands and stayed at bed and breakfasts the whole time. We had the family room. It was by far the largest room we had and there was a large tub, which is rare in Scotland. The bed was very comfortable and we... More

My husband and I, sadly, could only stay 2 nights in this beautiful place and cannot wait until we can return for another chance to enjoy it. Andreas and Kris gave us the warmest of welcomes and showed us immediatly to our room which was lovely. We felt very at ease and enjoyed the most fantastic home cooked meals, ie... More
