The Mansion House Hotel is a revelation! The refurbished rooms are really beautiful, no expense has been spared. Our room is large amd has the most enormous (and comfortable) sleigh bed I have ever seen and 42 in plasma TV. The bathroom is large and well-equipped and spotless. Everything is top quality, brand new and sparkling. The staff were a... more

i have been staying at the Mansion house hotel and country club in E;gon Morayshire for the past few months and I just wanted to express my gratitude to the staff who have bent over backwards to accomodate me during my stay here. I travel all over the North of Scotland for business purposes and never have I stayed in... more

I work away from home 3 nights a week for 6 months of the year and having stayed at the Mansion House Hotel for a few weeks I have to say that it is probably the best hotel I have stayed in and with my work I have stayed in many. The rooms were VERY comfortabe and with a 42"... more

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for two nights with my wife and I would just like to say what a wonderful hotel it is, with staff that really do go the extra mile. Staff are polite and courteous at all times, and try and do as much for you as possible to make your stay a... more

The Food was very good Service was prompt but the bar prices were extortionate and the beer flat Nice decor and large snooker table breaks up the inner foyer more

Spent one night at this hotel whilst attending a wedding and where the setting is very nice, it was the most disgusting hotel room I have ever stayed in! The room was very dark, the carpets dirty, the wallpaper hanging off the walls and the bathroom carpet very dirty and smelled liked it had had years of 'men missing the... more

My Husband and I stayed at the Mansion House from 01/08-03/08/ to attend a family wedding. We stayed in a superior double with a super king size four poster bed and a huge bathroom. The fridge contained fruit water and milk. Everthing was really clean, and it was the perfect "Country house Hotel". That night we ate in the Bistro... more

When my husband booked 2 nights in the Mansionhouse as a suprise treat, I was a little apprehensive as I prefer my hotels to err on the side of 'boutique' and I knew this place definitely wasn't. However, I really enjoyed my stay there. Yes, it is a bit shabby/quaint in places but that all adds to it being an... more

Having just returned from a trip to Elgin with Clyde FC 14's youth team. The travelling groups stayed at different hotels in Elgin as other hotels where fully booked. Having opted for the Mansion House Hotel and paying a little extra with the rate that included adding 2 extra beds to the twin superior room that we booked. The boys... more

The reviews on the Mansion House were mixed, but the location was ideal for us because we were in Elgin to see a Wolfstone concert at the Elgin Ice Rink, about 500 feet away. I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel used to be a mansion and has had some rooms added on. I've found that there are a number of... more
