Down in Greenock to pick up a new piece of equipment so booked into the Premier Inn. Located on the banks of the Clyde we hoped for a room with a view but these are very limited so we were presented with the gable end of a warehouse which was a bit of a let down!! The welcome, from the... More

Stayed 1 night (Saturday) for sporting event. Booked evening meal and although very busy staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was very clean and 3 year old daughter had a good nights sleep. Would definitely return again.

Just back from another stay at this excellent Premier. Who could ask for more.Friendly, helpful staff and a room overlooking the Clyde. If you are planning on visiting this area to sightsee, give it a try. It is so handy for sailing on the Clyde, visiting Glasgow or taking a trip to Loch Lomond. We keep coming back. There is... A good comfortable hotel. Pleasant and helpful staff. I didn’t eat in the restaurant in the evening but had a nice breakfast there. Lovely location on the Clyde. I would have no hesitation to stay here again

Average premier inn, rude receptionist, cold bedroom, lift not working had to carry heavy suitcase up two flights of stairs. Near Morrisons supermarket where you could get a decent breakfast at half the price of the Premier inn

Just returned from another stay here and the hotel, attached restaurant and all the staff never let us down. We have family close by (Gourock) and use this premier inn as a place to stay whenever visiting them as it is far better value for money and much more comfortable than the hotel/bar we used to use in Gourock itself.... Our room was clean, warm, comfortable and nicely furnished. If we had known that the Inn was right by the edge of the River Clyde, we would have booked a room with a view as we had a wall outside our room. Hence the cheapness I guess. We didn't have a meal at the Brewers Fayre in the evening, but... More

I’m glad you found everything at Greenock Premier Inn and our adjacent Brewers Fayre restaurant to your satisfaction. Premier Inn makes no price distinction between rooms, so when you book the price quoted applies to every room in that hotel, regardless of the number of people it can sleep, or its location within the hotel. For that reason it is... More

Well. Aside from a broken at in the attached pub and one you need to pay for at mc Donalds over the road, it's as you would expect from the chain. Long pointless corridors to get to your room. A direct alternative route from across the car park would save a lot of time and disturbance to other guests. The... More

I‘m sorry but I cannot understand what you are trying to convey in your first paragraph – perhaps there is a word missing? I take your point about the alternative route across the car park, but our guests’ security is of paramount importance and we consider that the value of having one entrance constantly monitored by Reception outweighs the short... Pleasant repeat visit to Premier Greenock. 3 nights of peaceful sleep, efficient and pleasant staff. Adjoining Brewers Inn (The Point ?) provided good, if limited, choice for a three day visit and we ate out one day. Again, staff pleasant and efficient. On a good day views across the Clyde can be stunning. Ships, cormorants, swans and the start of... More

I’m glad you did not allow your “wee gripe” to detract too much from your enjoyment of your second visit to our hotel and restaurant. As someone “of a certain age” I have to agree with you about the increasing use of the word “Guys”. Our staff are usually young people so perhaps this is the penalty we pay for... More

This Premier Inn is in a lovely spot on the River Clyde. The receptionist was especially friendly and efficient. Our room had a lovely view looking out over the Clyde to Helensburgh. The room and bed was comfortable and the breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Would recommend.
