Lovely looking house although it's actual views of the Firth are pretty limited. Staff were very good and generally very attentive. We booked a 2 night DBB which was pretty expensive and we're let down on the first night with menu items not being available then served with replacements that were simply not 2 AA standard. The owner offered us... More

My grandson and I were touring Scotland and he wanted to 'sleep in a castle' while there. The Kincraig is very nice, clean and eye-appealing. It is located far from anything else so if you don't have car, a taxi is an expensive way around. It was hot in July and there was no air conditioning or fans so unless... More

Booked a weekend away with my partner and had a wonderful stay. Very friendly staff on arrival and we received complimentary shortbread and coffee at check in, a very nice touch! Enjoyed a lovely meal in the restaurant and we were made to feel very welcome by the family who own the hotel. Our room was spacious and finely furnished... More

The Grants were very gracious hosts - the facility was spotless and in excellent condition, and the staff was friendly and very responsive. We would definitely stay there again and willl recommend it to friends!

We arrived after 9pm without a booking, me in my motorcycle gear, my 16 year old son, William, with his push bike and cycling shorts etc. ( He was riding Land's End to John O'Groats solo, for cancer charities with me as his back up team of one. ) We were splendidly greeted and shown to a wonderful room overlooking... Had to do a wee job in Invergordon and stayed the night. Arrived looking a total mess but was treated like royalty. Superb meal, and then sat in the bar chatting to guests, locals and staff till way too late. super big room (23) with four poster and amazing view. Breakfast was perfect, ( I do like my salmon and... Kincraig is very comfortable and welcoming with a good menu. This is not a trendy, luxury, city boutique hotel but it has a relaxing classic, country charm. Very, very peaceful, with attentive staff and great surroundings made for a lovely weekend.

We visited here on our way back from a car rally in tain as this was Sunday we were looking forward to a good roast. As we entered the staff looked us up and down with a look of disgust (maybe my black Sabbath t-shirt was deemed offensive 😊)not a good start. Things got no better as it quickly became... More

Stayed at the hotel in June with my husband. Staff very friendly and attentive on check in. Booked a castle room to celebrate our wedding anniversary which was worth every penny, very nice furnishings and toiletries combined with lovely views to the front. Dined in both the restaurant and the bar, highly recommend the Halibut in the restaurant and haggis... More

My work takes me to many places in and around the Uk and over seas, what a difference staying at the Kincraig Castle hotel has made to my stay in Invergordon. Every day has been like being at home, the staff are more like family and are there day and night to make my stay perfect. The hotel is just... More
