We took advantage of the two nights for one offer on bed and breakfast and enjoyed a wonderful stay in this very comfortable and friendly hotel. The room was large, clean, spacious and very well appointed with an equally excellent bathroom. The breakfast was fabulous and we took the opportunity to dine in the hotel on one of the evenings... Myself and my partner booked a weekend off and headed North to the Kincraig hotel on a dinner B&B package. As always, one is nervous about a new hotel however it was fantastic. The Staff are all very friendly especially the receptionist! and the attention to detail is there. We stayed in room 26 and found the bed to be... More

We stayed at the Kincraig Castle for one night during our recent trip to Scotland. It was a beautiful castle in a quiet area. We bought the dinner, room, and breakfast package. The dinner was amazing and probably one of my favourite meals in Scotland although we never had a bad meal. Breakfast was huge. I couldn't believe the amount... More

We stayed for one night at the Kincraig Castle Hotel and completely loved this beautiful historic house. It's set in its own grounds with fantastic views of the Cromarty Firth. Our room looked across the grounds and surrounding countryside to the sea. The room was slightly dated but this was not an issue for us because it worked well with... More

I have stayed at the Kincraig on business many times over the past 18 years but had not been since its new owners. In the past I have always had a nice bedroom with half decent views. This time I got room 32. This is an attic room which doesnt even have a complete door so you have to crouch... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review. We can only apologise again for the inconvenience caused regarding the room key issue. We've recently attached new wooden key fobs to all our room keys and somehow there's been a mix-up with a couple of master keys used by housekeeping which has now been rectified. We normally do our best to upgrade... More

We were passing on the A9 and decided to stop for lunch. From the moment we arrived we received excellent service. Staff were attentive and we sat in the bar and were shown to our table. Drinks and meal were reasonably priced. We had good sized portions and staff ensured we were happy throughout. We met the owner who is... More

We loved it here, beautiful setting, room was gorgeous, the place is immaculate, the staff are so welcoming and made us feel so comfortable. The food: wow!!! I had scallops followed by venison, cooked to perfection, husband had soup ( sweet potato and nutmeg) then steak. I commented on the food on checking out and Ruby (manageress) said she would... More

Brilliant food and amazing hospitality, nothing too much trouble for the staff! Traditional scottish food with a modern twist. Rooms were big and clean. Fantastic views. Would stay again when next in the area.

The hotel oozes with tradition. Service is top notch. The best part of our stay though was the food. Fantastique!!! Michelin star food for sure in terms of quality, menu choice, presentation and taste. And yet prices are extremely reasonable. Everything we tasted was simply divine - sweet potato and cajun spiced soup, venison carpaccio, seared scallops, pigeon, sautéed wild... More

The hotel on the website looked so nice! The price indicated that this should be a 5 star (plus the other "labels" such as Conde Nast), although the website does proclaim it to be 4 star, yet what we got was a good 3 star hotel with lovely staff and a new owner who agrees "there is much to be... Dear Guest, Thank you for your lengthy review. I'm surprised that after you shared all of your concerns with me personally, you still felt the need to submit such a highly derogatory review! We took the time to listen respectfully to all of your concerns and apologised for any shortcomings on our part. We also explained that as new owners... More
