My wife and I were visiting Alness and Roskeen Cemetary and booked one night dinner, bed & breakfast at the hotel due to its nearby location. The Executive Room was good although a little tired in appearance but clean and bathroom was recently refurbished and spotless with nice Arran Aromatics toiletries. Evening meal was excellent as was the massive scottish... More

We booked a small lunch party. The setting and public rooms were nice, with expansive views, the food more in the generous portion category than at the fine dining end. Whilst you wouldn't fault the effort being made the overall feeling from our experience was that of coming up slightly short of higher end current country house hotel standards.

After a very disastrous night at Dornoch Castle Hotel, my husband left there and we checked in to Kincraig Castle Hotel. SO glad we did!!! From the moment we drove up the long driveway we were impressed!! When we checked in the staff couldn't have been more helpful, and we arrived an hour before check-in, we were seated in the... More

If you want a touch of luxury stay here. Beds a bit on the hard side but outweighed by everything else. Lots of extra touches such as fresh fruit in room. Was given a wee jug of fresh milk for the hospitality tray as we cant stand the UHT stuff, a mini fridge in room with fresh milk would be... More

Treated my partner to a trip away for 2 nights and have no regrets. First of all wonderful building which looks beautiful in the sunshine and at night when lit up. Stayed in a spacious Premier Room which was very well furnished and impressed at the new TVs as I had read about the old TVs in previous reviews. Arran... More

This was our third stay at Kincraig. We noticed some new changes in reception and lounge with some new furnishings which was good. New television in our room which was much needed. Perhaps duvets instead of blankets as we found them quite heavy and perhaps a fold down of the bed covers in evening would be a nice touch as... More

Me and my boyfriend went here for the weekend and had a lovely relaxing weekend. Hotel was lovely, quiet with gorgeous log fire, fab food and good service. Rooms ok, we booked an exec room and thought perhaps it would have been more space, we had a room that was on split levels and bed was right next to door.... More

We regularly hold Easter Ross branch meetings of the Federation of Small Business in the hotel. Its location adjacent to the A9 makes it a handy location. Even though there has been some uncertainty recently due to the hotel being on the market, the staff has maintained a good standard. They are always friendly and try to accommodate our requests,... Two nights here. Staff helpful and friendly. Room spacious and well appointed. Enjoyed fresh fruit along with usual tea and coffee. Bar meals a bit confusing! So different from one evening to the other. Maybe chef was off on one of the evenings. Overall a bit pricey when you consider the charges for food and drink but balanced to some... More
