We stayed here for one night in room 7. It has a wonderful view of the beach. The staff are very friendly and the food is very good, especially breakfast. The room is very comfortable but the only gripe is there is no parking at this hotel, although we did manage to park on the next street. We would definately... More

Having heard about the annual Bandstand Beer and Music festival at the Braeval Hotel, my husband's curiosity intervened and he booked a three night stay at the end of the week and a bit-long event. In spite of the frenetic activity in the beer festival marquee upon his arrival, this did not detract from the efficiency and friendliness of the... More

We went to the beer festival and stayed 2 nights in a local bed and breakfast. Then moved to the braeval for the third night of Easter weekend. The beer was fab and the food was reasonable. All in all we had a great time. The room was clean though descent biscuits with the tea/coffee in the rooms would have... More

What a joy to be treated as almost a member of the family, rather than just another tourist! The proprietors and their staff were friendly, and the hotel was intimate, with no screaming youngsters. The food, and drinks choice were very good, and the meals in both the bar and restaurant were cheerfully served and filling. Particularly enjoyed the Friday... More

We stayed one night, the room was functional and had everything required, could maybe do with a refurb but comfortable anyway, good service, friendly staff, good breakfast. We ate an evening meal in the bandstsnd restaurant which was excellent, would stay again

One night stay with grown-up son in order to watch the solar eclipse early the following morning. Twin room, although not huge, was perfectly adequate - clean with comfortable beds and a sea view. No dedicated car parking but plenty of on-street parking available so no problem whatsoever. Very relaxed atmosphere and staff were extremely helpful and courteous. The Scottish... More

Thank you for your comments. If returning, I'd advise to book ahead for the restaurant as it can get very busy. More

A pleasant small hotel, with friendly and helpful staff who really make you feel welcome. The bedroom décor is perhaps a little tired. The food is good and a good selection for breakfast. The cooked breakfast was freshly prepared to individual requests - a real bonus! The hotel is well-placed for the centre of Nairn. The beach is a short... More
