Our first visit to Nairn was highlighted by this very pleasant hotel and its grounds. We received a very friendly welcome and given a nice room in which we kept our dog at night. Only fault was badly creaking floorboards. We got a free bottle of wine in our room, served with ice, which was a pleasant surprise. Food was... More

We had a lovely stay at the Newton hotel, it's really beautiful! The grounds surrounding the hotel are idyllic, it's close to the shops in Nairn! The rooms are really comfortable and the food was good! The staff were very helpful and accommodating! Highly recommended!

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is close to the town and a good base if you wish to have days out. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the room was clean and spacious. The food was good in the restaurant and breakfast was good. We would definately... More

A historic manor house that looked and felt like a castle, the Newton Hotel, was an enchanting place to stay. Our room overlooked a pasture with Highland cattle and then on to the ocean. Clean, comfortable, with a decor that honored the past and provided the amenities expected for today's travelers, the Newton Hotel has gorgeous grounds and gardens as... More

I booked to stay at the Newton Hotel for one night with my husband. If you driving and coming from the Aberdeen road try not to pass the entrance to the hotel. If you pass the Gulf garage on your left you have went too far, the sign is only noticeable if you are coming from the Inverness side. Anyway,... More

Very large room, especially for one guest! The view above the ground floor near the front of the older part of the building had a great view of the water from the North Sea. I felt like I was staying in a castle. The bed had the standard comforter/sheet and was very comfortable. The bathroom had a towel warmer. The... More

The beautiful manor home style hotel is a must stay place. The charm of the stone and rustic manor home was very nice. The room was very large and beds were comfortable! The key to get into the room took a little play but we figured it out. The restaurant was good and the staff helpful. They have two highland... More

Made to feel very welcome here on an overnight stay for a birthday celebration. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Kids were made to feel very welcome (aged 5 &7) and made full use of all the board games in the lounge area. The family room was massive and the boys loved their bunk beds, a real home from... More

Just returned after a two night midweek stay with my wife. On arrival we were allocated the Tower Suite, absolutely wonderful, okay maybe a wee bit tired and used in places but a sign of a well used hotel. The staff are a credit to this hotel, ever willing to assist to make sure everything was to your pleasing. We... More

This was our second stay and thoroughly enjoyed it. we booked the three day break of DBB through "Easy Breaks" which gave us a far better deal than through the hotel direct. we paid an extra £20 per night for an "Executive" room which gave a lovely view over the gardens and had been recently decorated. From other "Trip Adviser"... More

Thank-you for your review. At present, not all of our rooms are to the same standard, however this is something that we are working on. I am glad you found our menu reasonable, we do feel that we have a wide range of meals on there well within the allocated dinner allowance. Our staff are our most valuable asset. The... More
