Good hotel and perfect location. Glad we stayed in nairn rather than inverness. Stayed for three nights in July. Got a good deal on late rooms which helped. Hotel room was clean and had everything we needed including a wonderful power shower. Hotel room service was also reasonably priced which is rare! The only food we had in the hotel... more

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights with my partner and his parents in the new part of the hotel - booked through late rooms for £80 a night (executive double) which was fantastic value. Our spacious bathroom had a bath and separate walk in power shower which was great. The room had a hairdryer, trouser press, TV, free... more

Thank you for your comments. We operate an ongoing program of planned maintenance covering all areas of our Hotel to ensure that a consistent standard and quality is maintained. We have not been aware of any windows that do not close but thank you for bringing this to our attention.

we received a friendly pleasant welcome from staff on arrival and this pleasant atmosphere was there throughout our visit, our room was clean, bright, airy and warm with excellent ensuite facilities including one of the best power showers ever, the hotel has an excellent quite location away from any road traffic noise and noisy nightlife sometimes found in seaside resorts,... more

We spent 3 nights here in April as part of a large wedding party. Our room was located in the newer part of the hotel and was clean and comfortable with a nice view of the gardens. Bathroom excellent. Food in the restaurant was very good although expensive and the service was slow. more

we booked this hotel based on reviews and a couple of friends had previously stayed here. We booked for 2 nights, myself, my husband and two young kids. Our first impression of the hotel from the outside and the reception area was it was very nice. The rooms given to us, 2 separate ones, were good on first impressions. My... more

I would like to respond to the recent negative review for the Newton Hotel. The guests had booked two rooms which were stated had to be close together. At the time of booking we will allocate a room specified by our clients, either standard or master rooms. We will always try to accommodate every guests needs but as the hotel...

Our three night stay at the Newton was very relaxing. It felt like we had the place to ourselves as the hotel wasn't very busy. The staff are very friendly indeed and only too pleased to help you with local knowledge. The bar area is lovely with a big open fires and big comfy chairs. We didn't eat in the... more

The hotel as a whole is a lovely place to stay, but be aware that some there are some rooms that have not been renovated. Although they are clean and comfortable, the hot water is only hot if you run a bath in these rooms. The showers run at a luke warm temperature. Most of the rooms, however, are absolutely... more

We stayed for two nights - 27th and 28th of October - and thoroughly enjoyed the time at the hotel. Check-in was pleasant and efficient and we were given a room in the new part of the hotel. The room itself was fantastic - plenty of wardrobe space, two case stands, a great bathroom with underfloor heating and a massive... more
