The hotel was lovely in every way. The only issue was the check in. The receptionist took my credit card and charged £2 to for no reason and gave no explination. Also she never gave any details of dinner or breakfast. Poor arrival experience. more

The hotels rooms are mix of old and new. In the new part of the Hotel they are 4* quality. In the old part of the hotel they are not. We stayed in the old part, in the Chaplin suite and although in need of some "Tender, loving care" The sheer size and comfort made up for it's aging decor.... more

I stayed at the Newton Hotel during a 15 trip with CIE Tours. This was a very nice hotel within walking distance of the water and a field of cows. It looked newly updated.
