We stayed here as a couple for one night this week. There was plenty of on-site parking space. The owners were very pleasant throughout. Our room had a fourposter bed and a great sea view. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The bar room has a lot of character. The breakfast room has recently been redecorated in a beautiful white decor.... More

Fantastic paths to the beach and lots of options nearby for dining etc. Substantial parking. Very friendly hosts. Free breakfast was great & had lovely views from the table. Pet friendly (which is primarily our reason for choosing to stay here) but they could not be left in the room even as we had breakfast or dinner!! Otherwise this is... More

Lovely guesthouse with a million dollar view run by warm and caring people. Our room was great for a family - 2 adults and 1 child. Breakfast really tasty and versatile, and the view from the breakfast room is simply stunning. Our wee girl wasn't well during our stay and the owners helped us to arrange a visit at the... More

We booked a night in this guest house and felt it was not long enough. The rooms are large and clean, although a bit dated. There was a bug in the toilet, but it most probably flew in and got trapped. The bedding was comfortable and the rooms were large. Toiletries were all provided, as were towels and coffee and... This was the first time we ever stayed in guest house. Based on our experience we will look to do this more often. Doug and Kay were such nice hosts to us. Their place was fantastic. We had spent a few days in the hustle and bustle of Old Town in Edinburgh and the change to Invernairne was a great... More

Our son and his wife stayed here nine years ago so it was a nostalgic choice for us. Doug and Kay Mitchell were charming and the small twelve room hotel is listed on the web as a Guest House. It is on a quiet street set back a few hundred feet from the ocean. First, the bar occupies one end... More

The location and the guest house are both lovely. We had booked a family room which was quite large. The room was very clean, both the bedroom and the equally spacious bathroom. We had only booked the room for one night, so we didn't get a chance to visit the bar/lounge. The breakfast was delightful with a very nice view.... More

We were lucky enough to stay 2 nights at Invernairne Hotel. The house and grounds are just lovely and the path to the beach was really wonderful. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choices and well made. The bar was such a great surprise! We could sit and pretend to be members of the elite! Recommendations for dinner were very... More

I stayed at the Invernairn Hotel in the early 1990s on my first trip to Scotland. I have stayed there every year I have traveled to Scotland and played golf at Nairn Golf Club. The location is a two minute drive to the golf course. With so many B&Bs to chose from in this area, Invernairn Hotel is also a... More

Built in 1880, this home has been well preserved and cared for. We had a beautiful sea view room with a comfortable bed while our friends enjoyed a large garden view room. Walking the paved beachfront pathways directly in front of the house was a pleasure. Breakfast was served in a beautiful parlour with good quality food and cheerful service.... More
