A large, tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished building situated in a large garden on the bluff overlooking the Moray Firth. We spent two nights in the Dulsie Room (room 5) which has a large four poster bed and has a lovely view out over the garden to the Firth. The room was quite small and, coupled with the size of... We arrived at the hotel and I was suprised at the beautiful old building. The car park at the front is well kept and clean as is all the lovely gardens that lead down a private path onto the most perfect sandy beach. We were met by the owners who made us very welcome and showed us to our room.... More

I was forced to look elsewhere when I could not get booked at a hotel in my local haunts in Dornoch and Inverness, but I did land on my feet at Invernairne. When I arrived and got shown to my room I was pleasantly surprised it was a large high bedroom with a view of the beach and the open... More

Hard to imagine a nicer place to stay at such a reasonable cost. The house itself is impressive and the rooms are spotlessly clean and very comfortable, some with spectacular sea views. Breakfast is buffet-style - all the items you would expect and more and lots of it! It has a neatly laid-out garden with a private path leading to... More

Just had a lovely three night stay at the Invernairne with our family of four. Room quite cosy for four but big enough and as expected for a reasonably priced family room. Very welcoming place with a great breakfast. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay at Invernairne. It has a path leading down to a beautiful, long and uncrowded beach. We were blessed with great weather. The room was comfortable bright and welcoming. We would definitely go there again

My husband and I stayed here for two nights with our three young children. This is not a modern hotel with the latest facilities but it has everything you need and we had a very comfortable and peaceful stay. The hotel is just a short walk from the beach and although it was raining for much of our stay, the... More

The only really positive thing we can say is the location is good with a nice view. The room was poky, bed extremely hard and uncomfortable. The bathroom was small, with a pathetic shower that you had to climb in the tub to use. Only two small, thin bath towels to dry off with. Very unappealing breakfast. After reading all... More

Wonderful. What a lovely place. We stayed here for a night and thought we should have stayed here for more. This is not run of the mill hotel, but to me it was a boutique hotel. Everything was in its place as it should have been. The owners took care of each and every guests. The spread of the Breakfast... More

We stayed here on a quick tour of northern scotland. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, with a separate single bed for our four-year-old daughter. Very good breakfast, and the hosts couldn´t do enough for us. Bucket and spade and towel were offered for our trip to be beach after check-out. Beach is amazing, water quite warm and a perfect...
