I am always worried when a hotels external name signage has letters missing - it nearly always reflects badly upon what is to come - this hotel was no exception to that rule! Firstly the good bits; the hotel has a lovely location on the beach at Nairn with views over to the Black Isle and beyond into The Highlands,... More

For the third time this year I stayed here with my wife for a three night D.B &B.package. Once again the room was very good, the staff pleasant and basically efficient. The food was excellent the only complaint being the service both at breakfast and dinner could have been better ( just needs a bit more guidance from management as... More

We have never done this before. A xmas stay over. Good clean hotel. Well heated. Our room was large as my wife uses a wheelchair. Good xmas atmosphere. Meals were off the xmas menu and were ok. Wife used the spa. They came to the room to do her nails which wasnt normal procedure. Nice relaxing and great views over... More

We booked the hotel for a break on the recommendation of my parents. Firstly, the hotel was "average". Nice reception area. Nice location. Nice rooms etc. Would stay for a night again, but not out of my own choosing. Now on to the bad bit.....the restaurant..... On arrival, I was asked if I wanted to book a table for dinner.... More

Nairn may not be the most reasonable place for a hotel but that being said at what your paying and the rating this venue had I was underwhelmed. The place could be argued as having character but could also be argued as dated throughout. The room was spacious and did offer tremendous views, lucky they emphasis this in the name.... More

From the time we entered the hotel to the time we left the staff were friendly and efficient. We were celebrating our 37th wedding anniversary and were delighted with everything. We ate in the conservatory and given a window seat overlooking the Moray Firth. The lunch menu had plenty of choices from snacks to main courses. The fish and chips were... More

From the outside the hotel looks lovely. As previous contributors state it is in a beautiful location overlooking the Moray Firth on the edge of Nairn. A short stroll and you are on a beach. For the last ten years I have walked past the hotel, watching people in the conservatory having a meal so this year I took up... More

Went with a friend for the day as a nice treat. Had a treatment (pedicure) in the morning, then a lovely lunch by the pool. Then the afternoon was spent relaxing in the pool and Jacuzzi, we had hoped to spend time in the hot tub too but we were disappointed to discover that it was out of order. Hopefully... More

Well.... . where do I start .... lets start with the position of this Hotel... superbly placed right on the front with lovely views. Would have been magnificent when built but like so many of these old Scottish Hotels now taken over by a chain who seem unable and unwilling to spend any money on keeping the place up to... More

We wanted a 1 night 4star break and this hotel delivered! Friendly and smiling staff, exceptionally clean, great sized room, lovely pool, and first class breakfast. The location is amazing - right on the beach. We will definately be returning and would recommend to anyone who is looking for a good hotel in an beautiful setting.
