As a group of friends we had a great break at Boath House. It has 8 rooms and is a delightful Georgian House, situated in extensive grounds. The rooms were very smart, particularly the 1st floor rooms at the rear of the house, nice decor, very smart bathrooms. The food was excellent, really 1st class; it has an interesting wine... More

We stopped in for lunch. Although we missed the full Sunday lunch service we had soup and sandwiches-delicious squash soup, salt beef sandwich and chicken and basil sandwich.Everything was delicious and to a high standard. We liked it so much we went back for dinner. Set menus were good value-salmon, sous-vide duck and delicious rice pudding in small but very... More

Booked dinner b&b deal for Saturday evening on the day. Were greeted by friendly staff on arrival and were shown to a beautifully presented room with Orangerie (conservatory) area where we were able to sit out and have a coffee. Opted for the full 6 course dinner menu (+£25pp surcharge on deal rate) and asked to change one course due... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to leave a positive review on our page. We are glad you were able to book a room on such late notice, although I wouldn't advise all guests to risk doing the same! We hope you enjoyed the remainder of your trip and hope to see you again one day. Warm Regards,... More

We recently spent two wonderful nights at Boath house. The accomodation was fantastic and the service was top class. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who cherishes privacy, peace and quiet, delicious food and a good tipple.

This is a grand setting for afternoon tea, a gift from my daughter to kick off our stay in Scotland. If I was just marking the sandwiches and sweet offerings I would happily give 5/5, the sandwiches were especially good. However there was no soul or feeling to the whole afternoon. No background music, no fire burning in the hearth,... More

Gave this lovely hotel a five star rating the first time we visited, so I guess this time it will have to be six. A winning combination of staff, owners, house and gardens, rooms and a fabulous chef (Charlie), make this place a firm favorite with us. The meet and greeters, Pip and Squeak, did their bit to help of... More

It was my birthday and I had asked for a mini break where we could go for walks and down to the sea. Boath House Hotel fits the bill! This beautifully restored house and its gardens allow for a gentle stroll, quiet appreciation of the surroundings and relaxation. The Moray Firth is just a short drive or bike ride away.... More

We had a perfect one night stay. Dinner was superb..balsamic meringues will always stay in the memory and the staff couldn't be nicer. Service was as discreet as you would expect from this kind of establshment. Relaxing massages and facials a real treat. Beautifully appointed rooms.

Me and my partner stayed at the Boath House for a night in the Cottage. The room was beautifully decorated however be warned that the boiler is tiny in the cottage and we could only get one shower out of it. We then had to wait 20 minutes for it to heat up again. The food was out of this... More

My husband and I met up with another couple for lunch. This restaurant is on the A96 so we came from the west and they came from the east Aberdeen. It is easy to park near the mansion type hotel. We were greeted by a lovely gentleman who served us our pre-lunch drinks with superb choux pastry complimentary canapés. We... More
