This was a wonderful treat as we headed for Scotland for a wedding. Wish we had been able to spend more time at the hotel. We stayed 3 nights but only managed one excellent dinner. Will definitely return. Very luxurious and a delight.

We have just returned from the wedding of our Son and daughter in law this weekend at The Boath House. The organisation, attention to detail, help, guidance, welcome and care given by Sam and his team made this the most perfect weekend imaginable. The food by Charlie and his kitchen team surpassed any restaurants I have been to around the... More

Finding a place to dine on New Year's Day is a little difficult in Scotland ~ which is a good thing, I think, as it's good to rest after the Hogmany activities ~ but, I was delighted to discover that Boath House was open for business. We travelled from Australia and it was my husband's birthday, so I was hoping... More

Fantastic food. Definitely worthy of it's Michelin star. A delight. Great building. Great surroundings. Great bath and comfy bed. Staff very friendly. Interior (esp dining area) could do with a bit of work but overall great experience and we will be back.

This was our second visit to Boath House, we have stayed in the same room each time as we enjoyed it so much the first time around (room three). From arriving, the feel and ambiance is clearly relaxed, polished and professional. We dined at the house and again, thoroughly enjoyed the experience. In fact better second time! Which indicates the... More

They sat on the Lawn and had the bubbles as it was a warm October day then went inside to a fantastic spread with excellent service Thank... More

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. Boath house is stunning inside and out and the staff are so friendly and helpful. We had an afternoon tea which gave you a choice of sandwiches, scones and sweet treats. Our room was beautiful, it was extremely spacious and very grand. The bathroom had two claw toe... More

I do a lot of dining but rarely in a Michelin starred establishment. So this was a treat. I chose the pescatarian 6 course option and my favourite was the second course of scallop and leek. It was a surprise to have a cold leek but it balanced well with the delicate sweetness of the scallop.. of which there was... More

Excellent location for exploring the Scottish Highlands. This small manor house with gardens/pond has a one-star Michelin star for it's restaurant. We had a large suite with a tremendous bathroom - two claw foot tubs, two sinks and a shower. The staff was very helpful in directions to sites and restaurants, guiding us to the Highland Games in Nairn on... More

Start with the positive: The staff and the services they provide are excellent. Sam, Mary and Tina deserve high praise. Now on to other realities: We stayed in the cottage. It was comfortable but lacked features you'd expect from such a highly rated establishment. For example, there is no wireless Imternet service. But let that pass. The most serious problem... More
