Beautiful hotel and I have been for dinner on a few occasions but never stayed. My husband and I decided to stay here for a night away and got a room on booking.com for £260. We arrived to be told we had been upgraded to a superior room, which we thought was great, room 5. Beautiful room with a stunning... More

Hello Joanne, Thank you for taking the time to give your feedback of your stay with us recently. I am sorry to hear that your stay was tarnished by a bad night's sleep due to a loose sash window which is now fixed. Ironically, had we not upgraded you, it wouldn’t have been an issue, so I apologise. As I... More

A short walk up a well lit drive to the house with candles at the front door makes for great welcome. My wife had been a couple of times previously for afternoon tea and this was our first visit for dinner. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful without being intrusive, they have the balance just right. Everything about the... More

They had me at hello....from the moment the charming Sam(his family owns Boath House) greeted us at the door, we knew we were in for something special. The hotel is a stunning mansion and has been beautifully decorated for both elegance and comfort. The rooms are deliriously gorgeous( number 8 is a winner) and the common areas reminiscent of old... we visited the boath house as it had been highly recommended to us . the grounds are beautifully kept and the rooms are great but the whole place just needs a bit more refurbishment to justify the price tag . The owners are lovely people and very helpful and are trying there hardest to refurbish up to a grand standard,... More

This is a very elegant place. The food is exceptional and the lawn/grounds are beautiful. The rooms are nice and large, our bathroom on room 3 was huge but had a tiny little shower that was more fitting of a hostel than a hotel of this level. The artwork hanging in the house is worth the visit itself. Most of... More

Dear Guest, Many thanks for the positive review. The food, gardens/grounds & artwork are wonderful attractions unique to Boath House that we hope all our guests enjoy. To say that the shower cubicle in room 3 is tiny is a massive exaggeration. It provides ample space for a comfortable shower. The staff at Boath House provide a professional, friendly &... More

We love Boath House - the beautiful surroundings, first class service, exquisite food. We love staying in Mickle Cottage adjacent to the hotel. It's beautifully furnished with a huge bathroom ( it also has disabled access). The living room features a beautiful antique French stove which the staff are only too happy to light for you. One of the best... More

A fantastic House, very well kept. Stunning bedroom and great cuisine. Remarkable selection of whiskys . Service is discrete and elegant. A premium location where to relax. Not in the best part of Scotland but this House is worth a trip till Nairn!

OMG! If you are planning a visit to the Nairn area for whatever reason, you must try Boath House. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were sure we were in heaven! I could write a book on all that was perfect, nothing was wrong with this place, oh well, maybe no good wifi connection, but... More

Used Boath as our base while touring distilleries and the Elgin woolen mills. It exceeded our expectations. It is very low key but A-one service and A+++ food. The environment promotes conversation amongst the small number of guests. Enjoyed walking around the groundd especially the kitchen garden area. But the food is exceptional, things I would never have ordered off... More

The staff really made this place stand out. From the moment we checked in nothing was too much trouble. The real reason for our visit was, not only that it allowed dogs to stay, but of course the food. The house boasts a Michelin Star and the restaurant was our real interest. Canapes and aperitifs are followed by either a... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback on your recent stay with us. I'm sorry that you were not happy with some aspects of your dining experience with us. A few of your comments are a little confusing- firstly, I'm not sure how many Blackpool guest houses you will find with grand spacious dining rooms... More
