A fantastic House, very well kept. Stunning bedroom and great cuisine. Remarkable selection of whiskys . Service is discrete and elegant. A premium location where to relax. Not in the best part of Scotland but this House is worth a trip till Nairn!

Used Boath as our base while touring distilleries and the Elgin woolen mills. It exceeded our expectations. It is very low key but A-one service and A+++ food. The environment promotes conversation amongst the small number of guests. Enjoyed walking around the groundd especially the kitchen garden area. But the food is exceptional, things I would never have ordered off... More

The staff really made this place stand out. From the moment we checked in nothing was too much trouble. The real reason for our visit was, not only that it allowed dogs to stay, but of course the food. The house boasts a Michelin Star and the restaurant was our real interest. Canapes and aperitifs are followed by either a... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback on your recent stay with us. I'm sorry that you were not happy with some aspects of your dining experience with us. A few of your comments are a little confusing- firstly, I'm not sure how many Blackpool guest houses you will find with grand spacious dining rooms... More

If you have the opportunity to stay here, do not pass it up. Boath House is classic, elegant, refined, and at the same time welcoming and completely comfortable. The same is true of the staff at Boath House, who are refined, hospitable, and make you feel completely at home on this amazing estate. Specifically, I cannot say enough good things... More

Boath House manages to be elegant, classy and homely - and it does it well. Think fussy maiden aunt with taste, standards and an eye for collectables and you are not far from what you will get. Walking canes and umbrellas in the entrance hall, unusual art, family photos in the drawing room, comfy sofas and chairs and this in... More

3 of us went for lunch, expecting to be disappointed but it was absolutely perfect. You really don't get a Michelin star for nothing. Everything was absolutely spot on. We loved it. Go! Support this wonderful place.

Our family of five stayed at the Boath House on our vacation and it lived up to all the positive reviews. The location is quiet, beautiful and in the country. The building is stately with well appointed rooms and the character of yesteryear well maintained. The staff are extremely attentive and helpful with any requests. The meals as you would... More

Beautifully decorated, five star food and very good staff make a stay at the Boathouse House a wonderful experience. Rooms are extremely comfortable with large bathrooms and coffee and tea making facilities. Dinner is either 3 or 6 course menu. Our meal was outstanding. There are several lovely rooms to relax in or enjoy a drink before dinner.

This luxury boutique hotel near Nairn is the prefect place for a birthday or anniversary treat. It is a small, friendly, family run hotel with luxurious rooms, excellent restaurant and set in beautiful gardens.
