We have just returned from a wonderful 4 night stay with Sheelagh at Greenlawns with a feeling of having made new friends. Great Scottish breakfast but don't miss out on the Kedgeree. Would definitely recommend this home from home. We will be returning as soon as we can.

Simply brilliant. Stayed as a prelude to the Coast to Coast event which meant that we had to be the Community centre in Nairn for not long after 7am. Breakfast was ready at 5, Sheelagh could not have been more helpful. The room was ideal. Free Wi fi in the main house. We were made ro feel welcome thw moment... More

Our friend Angus John Maclellan booked 3 nights at Greenlawns on our behalf....and what a wee gem (well actually a diamond!) of a place to stay. The generous nature of its owners, Sheelagh and Dave, hits you immediately and within minutes you are relaxed and soaking up the comfort and peace of their home and garden which is a stone's... More

I can't say enough good about this place. From the moment we arrived and we were met by Sheila. We arrived 4 hours early for check but the room was ready and Sheila was happy to welcome us in. Despite obviously being very busy at the time. Sheila even offered to turn the heating on for us. Maybe she thought... More

Two weeks in Scotland, seven B&Bs....and Greenlawns was the best of them all! I have stayed with Sheelagh at Greenlawns twice, now; and her welcoming spirit and willingness to help her guests find the local flavor makes staying there all that much better. Her breakfasts are wonderfully cooked to order, and the rooms are appointed with flair. Oftentmes, the decor... More

Super friendly!!! I needed a place for my mother and cousin to stay after their long journeys from Australia and Istanbul, respectively, to attend my marriage in Scotland (my husband and I are from Australia, too). The host was delightful and fabulous in every way, and looked after my relatives with the absolute best of Scottish hospitality. Greenlawns is a... More
