Just returned from this B&B, paid £70 a night for 2 people. This old house sits on the corner of the main road into Nairn, run by Forbes & his elderly mum, who does loads to help out. Although it was a bit old fashion for me, it was clean & tidy, with good quality clean carpets, nIce Bed linen,... More

Found this substantial stone-built and perfect B&B purely by chance. Very spacious double room equipped with wardrobes, easy chairs, kettle and digital TV The en-suite facilities were spotless and a pleasure to use. The double bed was extremely comfortable. Adequate off-road parking space Our host and his mum were extremely friendly and helpful

Our family was travelling around Scotland and wanted to stay in Nairn. We were lucky enough to find Glen Lyon Lodge through the UK travellers bureau and booked 3 rooms for the 6 of us who were travelling. Each room was very charming, clean, had an ensuite. The gounds were very well kept and the gardens gorgeous. Forbes and his... More

We happened on this B&B by accident as our decision to overnight for 2 nights in Nairn was made last minute and yet we can't say enough about how wonderful our stay has been. The Glen Lyon Lodge is in a converted Victoria home. The grounds and garden are lovely with off road parking and only a 5 minute walk... More

An excellent B&B in a beautiful old house. Perfectly situated for touring the highlands. And the hospitality is second to none. We stayed in the room with an enormous bay window overlooking the beautiful gardens. The en-suite bathroom was delightful. And then there was the breakfast. 1st class in every way. All the food you could eat, superbly prepared and... More

A little walk from town and maybe a little dated in some respects but very clean, lovely gardens and a good breakfast. Off road parking was a great help. would maybe benefit from a biscuit or two on the hospitality tray but everything you need for a comfortable stay and the toiletries were very good.

Glen Lyon Lodge is an excellent B&B in a gorgeous victorian house. Walking distance to the city centre with many restaurants. Extremely clean room and spacious bathroom. Breakfast is of very good quality (the host is a chef). Must try home-made marmalade and jam. Very friendly service and atmosphere.

It was only for one night but we were delighted in every way with our stay at this charming guesthouse a short walk from the town centre. The lodge which is just off the main road, is set in beautifully maintained gardens, and is decorated and equipped to a high standard. We had a very pleasant and comfortable en suite... More
