Stayed here for five nights and couldn't have found anywhere better.The most warmest welcome,very friendly staff who looked after us so well.excellent home cooked food.very clean and cosy bed rooms.Amazing placeto stay would recommend this inn. A1...........

what a good find. fantastic curry, and a clean and warm room. friendly staff made it a great stay. good location for some historical attractions, such as fort george a working army camp, culloden, the historical battle ground, nairn with its great beaches, and the banffshire fishing villages.the covenanters inn is well worth a visit.

Like other reviews warm friendly. Staff welcoming and helpful. Great value for money. Breakfast took me back to my childhood as the only way a fried egg should be is as per my grandmother. Soft yolk with a nice crispy brown doilly on the edge! Brilliant! Will return next time up north.

Yes this was nice stay for our group and the staff went out of their way to be helpful; but there are a couple of issues which did not make the stay more wonderful, The walls are paper thin and you hear every noise made by neighbouring guests, the corridor floors sqeak like mad and it is just not acceptable... Lovely little hotel and pub. Rooms very small but clean and adequate for just an overnight stay. Locals in the bar very friendly along with staff who were very friendly and welcoming. Would need a much bigger room if taking our little one with us.

We stayed here for three nights in August. Check in was good, the staff and owners are really friendly and helpful. They showed us to our rooms and even explained how the locks work. It is an Inn, with a pub/restaurant, and a newer or updated part which holds the rooms. The rooms are all updated, and sufficiently kitted out.... More

Stayed many times in this area on business trips. Now always stay at covenanters as the best value, clean, comfortable and the staff and owners always look after the guests to make everyone welcome. Rooms are small but in character. Can't beat this traditional inn but don't go if you really prefer all the mod cons of a hotel.

I stayed here with a few friends a couple of weeks ago and it was outrageous. First off, there was food under the pillow, the chairs were filthy and the food was terrible. If you are planning a trip to Nairn I suggest you stay far, far away from this place as it isn't any where near average.
