Lovely little hotel and pub. Rooms very small but clean and adequate for just an overnight stay. Locals in the bar very friendly along with staff who were very friendly and welcoming. Would need a much bigger room if taking our little one with us.

We stayed here for three nights in August.
Check in was good, the staff and owners are really friendly and helpful. They showed us to our rooms and even explained how the locks work.
It is an Inn, with a pub/restaurant, and a newer or updated part which holds the rooms. The rooms are all updated, and sufficiently kitted out....

Stayed many times in this area on business trips. Now always stay at covenanters as the best value, clean, comfortable and the staff and owners always look after the guests to make everyone welcome. Rooms are small but in character. Can't beat this traditional inn but don't go if you really prefer all the mod cons of a hotel.
I stayed here with a few friends a couple of weeks ago and it was outrageous. First off, there was food under the pillow, the chairs were filthy and the food was terrible. If you are planning a trip to Nairn I suggest you stay far, far away from this place as it isn't any where near average.
Stayed here last week with a party of friends was so disappointed as the rooms were not clean.
The chairs in the rooms were covered in dirty marks. The bathrooms had not been cleaned at all for some time.Even for a 3 star one would have thought a cleaner would have been before our party arrived. Will not be staying...

Not sure why the reviewers before me visited The Covenanters Inn as they all sound so more suited to stereo type Premier Inns etc. This is not a modern hotel but a lovely friendly old inn. All the staff made us so welcome and the inn was clean and comfortable. To modernise this place would ruin it as the character...

Stayed here whilst in Nairn on business for one night with a colleague. We were quite late arriving and having seen the poor reviews for food decided to steer clear and eat on the journey up. From the outside it looks ok, nothing special but plenty of car parking spaces.
The bar area is old fashioned and could do with...

Popped in for lunch as people used to say this place did nice Sunday lunches. The empty car park should have warned us off but it was only just after 12pm, so we thought we were the first customers. Indeed we were, and the only customers for the duration of our lunch. We had hoped for a proper Sunday lunch...

My wife and I travelled to the Covenanters Inn with my elderly parents and stayed for three nights. We had read the reviews beforehand and had one or two reservations, which were resolved on arrival. Yes, the lobby smells a little 'musty', not really musty but stale beer from the bar which is immediately off the lobby. It also smelt...
