Lets put this in perspective. For two of us for room and a good breakfast, the cost was £68. On Boxing Day/overnight. I cant accept some of the earlier reviews. The hotel most certainly is not dirty. Although room 5 bathroom was a little bit short of space last year, this year we were in room 10 with a much... More

We stayed here on a golfing trip. Only stayed one night. It is not somewhere I would stay again. The mattress on my bed was broken down. The door to the bathroom could only open halfway because it hit the toilet. The shower was tiny, but it did have a good flow of hot water. The staff was very nice... More

The staff were very friendly and helpful nothing was any bother to them although the room was on the small side it was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and the bar was really great. We met lot of interesting and friendly locals.

Disappointed in this hotel, very small room and the bathroom was so tiny that the door couldn't open properly because it hit the toilet. The fan made a horrendous noise and the shower was broken. We complained and got a replacement shower head . Evening meal was enjoyable but the breakfast looked as if it had been heated up. Room... More

No WiFi signal. only one single electric socket,no toilet roll holder, only a bar of soap, shower rail falling down, bathroom door touched toilet seat(see photo). The meal was not that great £12 for salmon and boiled potatoes £3.95 would be nearer the mark. Breakfast was fine! The place felt very tired, a good spring clean could help!

My wife and I stayed here for the third time this summer. It's a pub with a few inexpensive rooms and lots of car parking. It's clearly not a luxury hotel - but then it doesn't charge luxury prices. Breakfast is excellent. Bar meals in the evening are perfectly acceptable unless one expects cordon bleu and silver service. Locals at... More

Booked in for one night. Had the tiniest room ever, a double bed and a single bed, if three people had been in the room I have no idea where they would put their suitcases. The lobby was very noisy as people made their way to bed. We could hear people using the bathroom in the next room. The worst... More

The staff here couldn't have been any more helpful, always pleasant and even gave me lunch outside their lunch hours. The rooms however were very dated and in need of decorating to brighten the place up a bit as the hotel just looked a bit run down. Also, they asked for payment for the wifi, a bit disappointing. Breakfast was the... More

Upon arrival, we were greeted by a man urinating outside the front door entrance. The toilet and toilet seat were covered in urine and what seemed like blood. We found a few crisps spilling out of an open bag on one of the pillows. From 23:30 to 6:30, there was no heating or hot water as the central boiler was... More
