Owners of North End, Nairn Bed and Breakfast – John and Hazel Wilson are kind, friendly and hospitable persons. Theirs home is located on foot walk from Nairn railway station. I spent there 4 nice nights. It’s a calm, cosy and quiet place with fine hosts. Admirable clean rooms with markworthy furniture are available. You may even find some books... More

We stayed in the self-catering cottage adjoining the main house. Very well equipped; a nicely done conversion. The owners were not at all intrusive but very helpful when needed. The weather was extremely cold for summer, but the efficient central heating made it cosy and warm.

Stayed for one night in an ensuite double room, while my friend stayed in a double sharing a bathroom (with no shower though). The rooms were both clean and reasonable spacious. There was plenty of parking, although in the evening we took a short walk to the High St and harbour area. The welcome was always friendly and the breakfast... More

Thanks for your review. Glad you enjoyed breakfast and your stay even though it was raining cats and dogs that day! Re the shared bathroom, (apologies, if we did not make this clear when you checked in) but the bathroom is for the sole use of the occupants of Room 1 and is not shared, it has a bath with... More

We had a lovely stay recently in 'the cottage'. The property is beautifully presented, very clean and well maintained. We found we had everything that we needed for our stay. The owners were most helpful and polite. We did make a wee note in the book about the double bed not being overly comfortable but it would be easily sorted... More

Many thanks for taking the time to write a review for North End, Nairn we're glad you enjoyed your visit and hope to see you again some time. In response to your comment we've ordered a mattress topper for the bed, so we hope when it arrives that it will make the bed seem a bit less firm. More

Stayed in the self catering cottage which was extremely clean and well equipped. Yes the spiral staircase in the room is very different, but this is clearly shown on the website. To save possible 'head banging' we just tied something on the staircase, which did the trick for my 6ft 3in husband. Should imagine the cottage to be very cosy... More
