Lovingly restored, immaculately kept, comfy and homelike, stunning view, friendly owners, and reasonably priced. We stayed at many places during our trip, and even the 'high end' places didn't hold a candle to this one. Great location for so many tourist and historical sites, as well. If you like to connect to the real Scotland and not just the hype... more

We stayed in Ceol Na Mara for one overnight and were delighted. The owners were very friendly. The location is beautiful and so handy to tour around. So near many of my favourite Highland places :Eilan Donan Castle, the wonderfully scary Applecross road, Plockton etc... I particularly enjoyed the breakfast of Salmon and scrambled eggs! Definitely an address to remember... more

We stayed for three nights in this fantastic B&B. The rooms were luxurious and beautiful- we were completely blown away by the stunning views across the loch, Skye bridge and the mountains beyond. Ross and Jayne were the most amazing hosts- they went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. This B&B is very highly recommended.. will definately... more

I must admit to being a bit surprised that so few people have taken the time to review this charming B & B but being Scottish masel maybe I see it as my patriotic duty....................... Ross and Jayne are friendly and genuine hosts, attentive without being overbearing and a veritable mine of local knowledge. The premises are situated a five... more

Ross is a great source of information for the surrounding area and will recommend great places to eat and visit. I would definately recommend a... more

Found this lovely place by chance after a long search in the area where everything was expensive and ugly. We had probably the hugest bathroom we've ever seen!!! Everything was very good, the room was lovely, with a sea view, and we had a very nice salmon and scrambled eggs' breakfast. I think it was probably the best place in... more

In September 2008, I stayed a weekend at Ceol na Mara in the King Room. Amazing view across the loch, very homey room with a comfortable bed, very spacious bathroom to pamper yourself in, and great books in the room. I used this as a base to see the Isle of Skye, Glenelg, Applecross and Plockton. Ross was very interesting... more

Many thanks to Jayne and Ross; they made us feel like we were visiting relatives and were treated like royalty. We stayed in the King room for 3 nights, and felt like we were at home (except the breakfasts are WAY better than home!) The bed was extremely comfortable, and we old fogies with bad backs are pretty fussy about... more
