Just returned from a 12 day trip around the west of Scotland during which we stayed at 6 different establishments so we has a range for comparison. We booked our accommodation in March as end July/early August is peak time in Scotland and we were taking our Grandson, so needed a family room. This limited availability and we dismissed any... During a 8 days bicycle trip around Scotland, this B&B really stands out: wonderful room, wonderful hosts, wonderful location. If you are on the way to Skye Is. it is really worth stopping there. Probably the best B&B I've ever been, I wish there were more like that.

Best B & B we stayed in , in this price range, we had a lovely on suit bedroom and also a lounge /sitting room with a patio, the owners were nice and put them self out to make you feel welcome. even though there were other guests we were given breakfast in a seperate room on our own,

Had a lovely stay at Ardenlea. We booked the suite and it was lovely. A real treat to have your own sitting room with balcony as well as a lovely en suite bathroom. Great breakfast, you don't need any more food all day! We will definately be back nect timme we are in Kyle.

Ardenlea is placed in such beautiful location - one can see Skye mountains and the sea. We had two room suite - both large and furnished with taste. Breakfast is very tasty. Onsite parking. Catriona and Andrew are very nice, welcoming people. You will like them from the first moment. Best wishes.

We booked to stay at Ardenlea for our 3rd night of 7 night tour of Scotland on the recommendation of Trip advisor reviews. We were given the suite but felt unsure at first if it was our lounge alone or if shared with other guests but soon realised it was just for us. It was nice to have 'proper' milk... More

We arrived quite late (after dinner) one evening to find a restful homely environment from our travels! We were booked into the family suite which was a pleasant surprise but were too tired to enjoy the facilities e.g. lounge, TV, etc etc. The B&B is immaculate and truly appreciated for a cleanliness freak like me! Breakfast was great as well... More

We stayed here for just one night and this has to be the best B&B we have ever stayed at. The house is in beautiful surroundings and our hosts were welcoming. The room was spotless and nicely furnished with a lovely modern shower room en-suite. A lovely breakfast was served in a private room overlooking the garden. We would thoroughly... More
