The pictures on their website don't do justice to the loveliness of Grianan House. Janet and Malcolm have turned an ordinary overgrown slope of grass (ask to see the "before" pictures in their album :-)) into a gorgeous landscaped terraced garden that goes right down to Loch Duich. Beautiful house with fabulous garden streaching down to the loch. Very warm welcome from Janet and Malcolm with all the information we needed including places to eat in the evening. Room well furnished with comforable bed with crisp linen. Usual tea/coffee etc. HUGE bathroom all very clean and well maintained. Need your own shampoo/soap. Janet and Malcolm have the most fantastic house you could dream of staying in. Their lovely garden slopes down to the very shores of beautiful Loch Duich, and beyond are the snowcapped Five Sisters of Kintail and other peaks.
