I stayed here for one night while en route to Skye and already feel like I've known Mike (the owner) and his son Josh for ages. They are really the most wonderful and genuine hosts you could ask for, and were very interesting company to have conversations with when I was with them. Mike is a lovely guy who would... More

From time we arrived a friendly place to be. Ideal for touring round Skye and for the short drive to picturesque Plockton. Parking across the road from the Bank. Plenty of places for eating and getting a drink. Clean and comfortable rooms.

Stayed two nights as visitng Skye and Eilean Donan Castle. Very central hotel, basic but comfortable. Michael (owner) is a very good host and is very informative about the area. Room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable.

Staying with Michael is always an adventure. He and Josh go out of their way to make sure we are comfortable and well taken care of. SOme of the best beds we had in our 10 days in Scotland. Clean and homey.

Stayed the one night as part of an epic rail journey from North Wales up to the Kyle of Lochalsh. The location of the Old Bank House can't be beaten being literally just yards from everything including the railway station. Accommodation was basic but perfectly comfortable and very spacious. The bathroom was not en-suite but this didn't bother me in... More

We were attending a family wedding and booked in at The Old Bank House not realising that we were quite far from the other guests accommodation, but that never became a problem because of Michael (owner)l and Josh they drove us to our venue offered to pick us up, nothing was ever to much trouble for them, the rooms are... Great service from Michael (owner), always has a funny story to tell. Perfect place to stay for our diving trip to the wreck of the Port Napier, the B&B is right next to the slipway, very handy for launching the boats. Nice wee B&B,perfect for our needs!

We stayed 3 nights in the family room. A nice big room with comfy beds (and superior pillows!) with plenty of room for ourselves and our teenage son. Mike and Josh were very helpful, friendly and informative on the area and all manner of topics. Substantial breakfasts and an ideal location for touring the surrounding area. It felt more like... The owner put himself out to rescue us late in the evening when the whole Skye & surrounding area area was... fully booked. An indication of his customer friendly approach. Clean room & good location.
