Overall, the location of this guest house is nice and quiet, the room we got was rather big but NOT spotless. The wifi was poor in the room and we had to go downstairs to access internet. The welcome by the tenant, a lady, was rather neutral. I am intolerant to gluten and requested at our arrival, i.e. roughly 20... More

This was by far the nicest place that we stayed while walking the West Highland Way. The location is right in the heart of town and everything in Fort William. Walk-able to the train, restaurants and shops. The building itself is old and full of atmosphere. Very pretty exterior. Our room was so charming, had a cute little window outlook... More

What a nice surprise when we went to mass at the local Catholic church and saw Tom, our host, on the altar as the deacon! He was just ordained this year! My husband is also a deacon here in Kentucky and we enjoyed talking with Tom & Sheena about their diocese. Hope to see them again someday, perhaps on the... More

We stayed here 2 days. The building is charming historical house with lovely gardens. The rooms are bit outdated and could be improved. However, we slept very well. The views of the loch from the room are great. Breakfast was very good and prepared as for our likings. The host were always happy to share about their local knowledge and... More

Beautiful historical building with lovely gardens and convenient location. Parking was easy, rooms were clean and owners were quite helpful in guiding us to different activiites around the area. Rooms are not elaborate but clean. Located 3 blocks from town centre so quite convenient for restaurants. We had 2 rooms with the shared bathroom and it worked out fine. Best... More

Start of our Great Glen walk. Arrived early and allowed to leave our bags and as our room was ready, into our room. A little tired but very clean and we had a cracking view from our window. Breakfast was very good and owners quite chatty and attentive at breakfast..

The house itself is impressing. If you are lucky, you get the family suite which really is a suite which some hotels charge you a fortune: plenty of space, beautiful view over the town an the Loch, and a large and comfortable bed. The other room we had was a lot smaller (hard to fit two large suitcases somewhere) but... More

My wife and I stayed in this lovely B&B for two nights recently and enjoyed it. From the outside the place looks like a castle. We called at the last minute and the only room available was a room with two twin bed and a shared bathroom. Some of the other older reviews must be in error or obsolete because... More

We enjoyed our one night stay at St Andrews, Quirky, historical, well placed. The hosts are friendly and very helpful, the room was a good size and quiet. The off street parking was a boon. Only one small complaint, the room had insufficient curtaining over the window so that the morning light had us awake earlier than we would have... More

My daughter and I stayed here a week ago on hiking the GGW. The hosts were very helpful and friendly and the accomodations are clean and neat. All you could want in a nice B&B with good food and a well manered dog to scratch. The converted choir school looks like a castle and has a great view over the... More
