We neared Fort William desperate for accommodation in the high season. Fortunately, St Andrews had a room. In an old church, St Andrews is nicely located and near the town centre as well as not too far from Mt Ben Nevis, the UK's highest peak. The owners of St Andrews were very friendly and breakfast was excelllent. St Andrews also... More

We stayed here one night visting fort william and nevis range. The room was nice and clean with access to our own bathroom. It was close to the city centre and easy to find after a small tour on foot around the city. Staff was ok and the breakfast was good and steady.

We stayed here two nights after finishing the Great Glenn Way and were pleasantly surprised by the grandeur and historical atmosphere of the place. The owners are very friendly and helpful, the location is very convenient. The room was spatious and comfortable, the bathroom somewhat smaller. Wifi could benefit from an upgrade or range extenders. I would not mind staying... More

The house is an impressive structure, which immediately raises your expectations. Pleased to say our stay did not fail to impress. Our room contained everything necessary for a comfortable stay although the TV was extremely small. This was offset by the fact there is a seperate guests lounge which had a large screen TV. The breakfast was great and our stay... More

When we came there my husband said: we'll have our own private church! But it was great. Friendly and warm (also as far as the temperatures go, since its been a freezing week in Scotland). We left our car there the following morning as well...

Overall, the location of this guest house is nice and quiet, the room we got was rather big but NOT spotless. The wifi was poor in the room and we had to go downstairs to access internet. The welcome by the tenant, a lady, was rather neutral. I am intolerant to gluten and requested at our arrival, i.e. roughly 20... More

This was by far the nicest place that we stayed while walking the West Highland Way. The location is right in the heart of town and everything in Fort William. Walk-able to the train, restaurants and shops. The building itself is old and full of atmosphere. Very pretty exterior. Our room was so charming, had a cute little window outlook... More

What a nice surprise when we went to mass at the local Catholic church and saw Tom, our host, on the altar as the deacon! He was just ordained this year! My husband is also a deacon here in Kentucky and we enjoyed talking with Tom & Sheena about their diocese. Hope to see them again someday, perhaps on the... More
