Our final destination after finishing WHW, so it was like entering heaven. Clean, comfortable and nice host. Close til High street and railway and busstation. A practical choice if you walk WHW or Ben Nevis

Fort William is popular, and it seems every house has been converted to a B&B. It also seems that most of them have a 'No Vacancies' sign. So demand is high. We paid £80 for our night here and didn't feel it was great value. Breakfast was average. We are vegetarian but no veggie sausages were offered. There is a... More

We stayed at the twin room for 2 nights and had a great time. The owners are very nice and hospitable, and recommanded different activities in the area based on the always-changing-weather. The guest house is located in the center of Fort William and is just a short walk from High Street. Only few downsides - the room was a... More

I had a difficult time finding accommodation in Fort William, and I was fortunate to finally find a room at Berkeley House in Fort William. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Norrie, who is certainly a cheery fellow, and he showed us our room (#7) which was located in the back of the house, away from any street noise. The... More

We stayed here on our way back to England from the Isle of Skye, an ideal spot for walkers, and sight sightseers. Our room was at the front of the building, facing the road, but still very quiet, the room had very high ceiling and was most comfortable. The full Scottish breakfast was adequate, however there wasn't any fresh fruit... More

We (3 adults and 2 kids) stayed here at the end of our WHW walk. This is a cozy little inn run by very friendly down to earth innkeepers. Breakfast service was great and the location is nice for easy access to central Fort William

I came to Fort William on a mini holiday for my birthday and stayed at Berkeley House as it was close to the train station. On arrival, Norrie greeted me warmly and showed me to my room. he also asked what I would like for breakfast and what time I wanted it. When I wanted to change the time for... More

We stayed here on our final night of our walking holiday and were met with a warm greeting, warm room and friendly staff who took our very wet clothing and bags to dry them out for us. We enjoyed a good nights sleep and a plentiful freshly cooked breakfast the following morning. Our bags were taken to the room for... More

My wife and I stayed 3 nights last weekend. Weather was atrocious, but the warm welcome extended by Norrie and May certainly helped keep our spirits up. Accommodation and breakfast were second to none. Train/bus stations and town centre within walking distance. Would certainly stay here again. Tom and Catherine, Edinburgh.

This marked the end of our West Highland Way walk and it was good to note its position as we passed it en-route to the very end and realised we wouldn't have far to come back !! Even more fortunate as we fell in with people we had met along the way and celebrated our achievement in the pub at... More
