Stayed one night during recent Easter Weekend in room 2. A double delux which was very well appointed with nice double aspect view of Loch. Comfy bed which was great after a long drive! Bathroom appears to have been upgraded but tap/shower system confused us and the water in the morning wasn't the hottest. Breakfast was pleasant and I can... more

We stayed at Room 12 at The Loch Leven Hotel for a nice quiet valentine weekend break. This by far is one of the best placed hotels in the area. Just a short trip down the road is the awesome scenery of Glencoe. A short trip up the road to Ben Nevis, and Loch Ness. As a simple start off... more

Booked for 3 nights 2 months ago, visited in 2,3,4th June, 2007. Specifically requested disabled room, I booked Room 12 which had a disabled shower and small balcony. This was £100 per night. Room looked lovely on internet pictures but was very small and pokey. On the first night I used the shower before evening meal, it was leaking very... more

I have read the many comments written in Tripadviser over the years. I have owned the hotel for 8 years now. Room 12 is the room that gets most comments, good and bad. Back in 2005 we decided to reorganise the ground floor and make a disabled room out of an extra office that had the best view from the...

I have recently had a weeks stay in this friendly and welcoming hotel. I am a mature widow and holidayed with my two retreiver dogs. I was given a beautiful double ground floor room with outside access which had a very comfortable bed. The price was fair and it was excellent accommodation with dogs. I had a lovely stay- the... more

I stayed here for just one night in early November with my girlfriend. On the whole a very pleasant experience which I would probably repeat again...although next time I'll wait for better weather. Your expectations will be better prepared if you think of the Loch Leven Hotel as more of a Bed & Breakfast. The rooms are comfortable, well presented... more

I stayed at the Loch Leven Hotel for a 2 night weekend in late June 2006. Travelled alone and although the hotel was not full I was still shoehorned into a small single room. In fairness I booked a single room, but it might perhaps have been a nice touch to be offered a larger room. My stay coincided with... more

Beautiful view over Loch Levan but rooms overpriced. Problems with plumbing, flooding shower and overflowing toilet, owner was very blaze about this and said'you have to expect this sort of thing in the Highlands'! Not at £120 per night you don't. Receptionist was rude and surly. Serving staff excellent very friendly and efficient. more
