We recieved a very warm welcome from Lorna. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable with beautiful views of the loch. Extra touches like a Box of Chocolates in the room to celebrate a birthday were very much appreciated. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Buccleuch is perfectly situated to visit Fort William - a short walk to... more

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at this beautiful guest house. Our view over the loch was stunning. The room was clean, comfortable and very spacious. Lorna was the perfect host. The breakfast choice was great. Cooked breakfast was excellent. We celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary when we were there and the bottle of chilled wine and special chocolates... more

What a find! My partner and I were lucky enough to come across this delightful guest house on our trip to the Highlands. The Victorian style accommodation has been thoughtfully restored with modern facilities to make an extremely comfortable stay. So, much so that we returned the following evening having planned to travel further North and celebrate our engagement at... more

We were on a coach tour, so unfortunately only had one night with Lorna ! The room we had looked staight out onto Loch Linnie, fabulous room, very large and perfectly decorated. Lorna's breakfast table was the best I have ever seen, I just wish I had taken a photo for you to see. It wasn't just cereals and fruit... more

Nothing more to add that hasn't been said in the other reviews. The hosts are very friendly and cannot do enough for you. Requested a loch view room with a bath and that is exactly what we got. The view is superb and the location is excellent only 5 mins walk from town. This is the best B+B we have... more

Spent a night here with wife and friends and were absolutely delighted with our stay. Accomodation was great, and the hosts very friendly and knowledgeable. An easy 5min walk into town so location wise pretty good as well. Views across the Loch are also pretty spectacular (in the right weather). Highly recommended. more

My husband and I stayed in this beautiful b&b for 3 nights and loved it. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the attention to detail did not go unnoticed. The rooms were beautifully decorated and had a real victorian yet modern charm to them. The view was so relaxing looking out to the water. Breakfasts v nice- my husband enjoyed... more

Stayed here about a year ago, recently returned and we were not dissapointed. The owners are extremely polite and friendly and can't do enough for you. The guest house is lovely, clean with great rooms and nice fresh bathrooms. There is a nice selection for breakfast, the cooked breakfast is highly recommended. Will definately pick Buccleuch if we are in... more

We stayed at Buccleugh for three nights in July 09 and cannot rate it highly enough. Our room was perfect, the bathroom was very clean, the towels were soft and smelt lovely. We stayed in room one and had a glorious view over the loch. The cooked breakfasts are of a high quality (sausage, egg, bacon and tomato) with endless... more

My husband and I stayed here two nights during a two-week UK trip; we chose Buccleuch somewhat at random the night before we arrived in Ft. William (we left two nights unbooked before setting out on the trip b/c we weren't exactly sure where we'd wind up, then scrambled a bit when it turned out that a school holiday meant... more
