My husband and I stayed here two nights during a two-week UK trip; we chose Buccleuch somewhat at random the night before we arrived in Ft. William (we left two nights unbooked before setting out on the trip b/c we weren't exactly sure where we'd wind up, then scrambled a bit when it turned out that a school holiday meant... more

We stayed at the Buccleuch 6th & 7th June. The property is stunning and the location was just perfect too! The breakfast was of superior quality infact, we have stayed in more expensive hotels and the breakfast was no where near as good as this! Would recommend this place as its close to everything you need, there is beautiful views... more

We spent a couple of nights in Buccleuch Guest House and they were as the titles suggests perfectly lovely. When we arrived the owners were very appologetic as one of the rooms we had booked the shower had broken and although the plumber would be out to fix the following morning (we were staying 2 nights) it wasnt working then.... more

My husband and I spent 2 nights at Buccleuch Guest House. It is a beautifully furnished house with a terrific location on the loch. Our lovely room had a nice view of the loch. Breakfast was delicious, and Lorna was very pleasant and helpful. more

After reading the nice reviews about this B&B I e-mailed the property and received a timely response from Lorna about my request for a double room for two nights (part of our nine night trip exploring Scotland). I wasn't sure how to guarantee the room and had additional questions. I called Lorna (long distance from the US). She answered my... more

I am very sorry that Leone felt so strongly that she was ignored regarding the response to her emails. I did email the link to Leoane on several occassions but each was returned undeliverd. There was no other way I could contact her other than by email and I do not fully understand why some emails got through and others...

This was actually the second time we've stayed here. The first was 18 months ago when we just popped up for the weekend to climb Ben Nevis. We needed a dead cert bolthole for this night, and we knew that it would be just the job. Warm welcome, lovely comfy room, a short 5 min walk from town with great... more

The Buccleuch is in a beautiful location at the edge of the loch. We had a very clean and comfortable room which was quite spacious as well. The view from the window was over the loch and was beautiful. Lorna was very pleasant and welcoming but she didn't volunteer information and seemed quite rushed. The breakfasts were very good but... more

Upon arriving at Fort William the original accommodation was unsuitable for my disabled mother so we took some advice from the original hotel and found our way to this delightful guest house. Upon arrival we were lucky enough to find a room free that looked as if it would not be out of place in a home magazine, beautifully decorated... more
