Stayed for one night as part of a ten day self-drive tour. Plenty of activities in Fort William and Fort Augustus. Also stopped in Glencoe. Breakfast was excellent and con sited of both hot and cold choices. Wifi was good. Stayed in downstairs twin room as it was the only available room where we could stay for only one night.... More

We had a nice one-night stay here on our way to the Isle of Skye. We had a lovely view of the loch right across the street. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was delicious with lots of choices. The B&B is within walking distance of the local restaurants and the train station (although it's a... More

On our self-driving tour of Scotland we have enjoyed an array of seven different rooms in Bed & Breakfast style lodgings. They were all excellent and top-rated, and all were booked for us by Absolute Escapes. We especially enjoyed the breakfast view overlooking the loch, here at Bucchleuch. Our hostess was so lovely and helpful. We each enjoyed the array... More

Stayed here on trip around Scotland. We had the two ground floor rooms one with a loch view. It is across the road from the loch with uninterrupted views. One of our party has restricted mobility. The hosts are lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent the only slight criticism could be the limited choice of fresh... More

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst staying in Fort wIlliam and cannot fault it! Our room was spacious and comfortable but unfortunately didn't over look the loch, but that didn't worry us! The breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of choice. Plenty of parking and only 5 minutes walk from the centre, plus the weather was fantastic, so an... More

Fantastic stay with great hospitality in a lovely setting. The guest house and rooms are not only spotless but in a wonderful setting on the banks of the loch. Only 5 minutes walk into the town centre. The breakfast was very nice, and fully flexible dependent on individual tastes.... A wonderful experience!

Achintore Roadin Fort William has many guesthouses and B&Bs but none could compare with the high quality that Buccleuch has to offer. Lorna and her husband run a beautiful guesthouse in a stunning location. They are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The house and rooms are spacious and airy and spotlessly clean. We were fortunate to have a room overlooking... More

We had a magnificent stay for one night during our road trip in Scotland. Located 5 minute from the small center of the town, few restaurants and bars around easy to walk back and try some Whisky!!! The house has a nice style and very comfortable, the room big and clean. The owners were so cute, helpful and made you... More
