This was our first trip to Scotland, we booked through Authentic Ireland. We received a warm welcome from Lorna upon arrival and found the room to be nice. It was a short beautiful walk along the Loch to the shops and pubs of Fort William. We stayed for one night, May 19th. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, Lorna was wonderful... More

Just back from a 4 night stay at the Buccleuch where we got a lovely highland welcome. Nothing was too much trouble and with a fabulous house lovingly restored we felt like house guests. Lots of hot water and plenty of towels provided. The serve yourself options at breakfast were the best we have experienced anywhere. Obviously used to accommodating... More

My wife and I recently stayed here and really enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and tidy and very welcoming. There's just something about this guest house that makes you feel as if you've stayed here a million times. It has a lovely lounge with tea and coffee and even a wee biscuit or 2 to enjoy and... My two sons and I stayed at Buccleuch Guest House for four nights in early May. The weather wasn't good but Lorna and Stewart made us very welcome and were very amenable - Stewart provided a useful map and gave us some good suggestions for a road trip around Lochaber on one of our wet days and also excellent suggestions... The greates b&b we went to during our short trip to Scotland!! The house is warm and lovely, so well decorated and it is a pleasure to arrive there after a long day in the cold outside. We were given a very nice room with everything we could expect, comfy bed, whole necessary for tea/coffee making, and an ensuite huge... More

The Buccleuch Guest house was easy to find on the main road into Fort William with excellent off-street parking. The view from our room across the gardens and out to the bay was pleasant, almost rural, despite being so close to town. The hosts were helpful and showed us to a quiet and comfortable room. This B&B has the best... More

My partner and I stayed here in July 2012 for two nights. We were a last minute booking and so they only had room 5 (the smallest room with not much of a view) left.
