First the positives (and there are a lot of them). The location is superb; overlooking the loch. The exterior is lovely, well kept, beautiful garden and flowers with chairs and tables to sit in and relax. The interior is very clean, well decorated and well maintained. The bathroom is very small but that is minor - you don't sleep in... More

The room was spotless and it was cosy and comfortable. You get quite a few tv channels, free wifi, tea, coffee etc and little sachets of shower gel and shampoo. The shower was easy to work, the room temperature was just right (I'm usually uncomfortably warm when staying in hotels) and the bed was very comfortable. You only get one... More

We arrived at Fassfern mid-afternoon in desperate need of accommodation as the B&B we booked (Craig Nevis Guesthouse -AVOID) had no booking for us even though I spoke to them the previous night...anyway, Owner of Fassfern was lovely, room was smallish but nicely done and breakfast was all fine. Would have stayed another night but we were called home. Will... More

I booked online in April for a 2 night stay in August. We arrived 8pm, owner suggested we were late! We were put in a TINY room with a view of the car park. Only one pillow on each bed, the "wardrobe" was 3 hangers on the back of the door. Only a 45 min window for breakfast and we... More

This B&B is housed in a beautiful building with lovely front garden. The rooms are a very good sized and extremely clean. The views from the rooms were amazing and really enhanced the visit. The wifi was free and the connection very good. The accommodation was excellent, however, the bathrooms are quite small and are let down by little things... More

Stayed here for one night. Fass Fern is a beautiful old house set off the main road into Fort William. It is set in a lovely garden and there is plentiful parking at the back. The location was great being only a few minutes walk into the town centre. We had a twin room which unfortunately was located at the... More

The b&b is set on the main road into Fort William with views to Loch Linnhe and is a beautiful old building with lovely gardens. It's well decorated and the rooms are spotlessly clean. Breakfast was fab too with a choice of yoghurts, cereals, cheese, fruit etc as well as a delicious cooked breakfast. It is literally less than 5... More

Stayed here for two nights in June. Fassfern is a beautiful old house in a prime position overlooking the loch, we had a lovely room at the front of the house. The gardens were immaculate and there was plenty of off street parking at the back. At first the owners seemed a little bit abrupt, telling us to go and... More
