Just spent a great New Year at this B & B. Everything we needed was provided. The hospitality and food is second to none. Fantastic breakfast - lots of choice. After a day out in this stunning area, despite the rain, we sat by the multi-fuel stove enjoying a welcome hot drink. Very cosy and comfortable. Will be back. More

This is a very long overdue thank you for your many kindnesses to us during our stay with you in July, prior to our cruise on the "Fingal". From being met by Glenys on arrival at the station in pouring rain!, to being driven by Iain on departure around to board "Flingal", and in between taxi-ing by Iain to Fort... More

Thank you for writing your review. We are very pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us. Hope you didn't get too wet walking into Fort William to complete the Great Glen Way and that you enjoyed your trip home on the sleeper. A great way to celebrate your 40th wedding anniversary. I stayed for one night in early September, before setting off the next day to kayak the Caledonian Canal towards Inverness. I say ‘towards’ because Hurricane Katia stopped me in my tracks unfortunately, somewhere on Lock Ness, and forced me to return from Fort Augustus. Glenys and Iain and their immaculate Glenshian Guesthouse provided me with the best start for... More

We spent two nights at Glenshian. The hosts Glenys and Iain were wonderful. They were most friendly and helpful in offering ideas for places to visit and the history of the area. When they found out we were both railfans, Iain even gave me a tour of the local railyard and a schedule of special railtrips while we were in... More

We stayed at the Glenshian Guesthouse at the beginning of August. To start with we didn't have any difficulty in booking just for one night (which it is not easy in high season). This B&B is set in a very quite environment just outside Fort William, with free parking space. The rooms are very nice, extremely clean with confortable beds... More

We only stayed for one night at the start of our walk along the Great Glen Way, but would love to come back again. The house has a gorgeous sun room (although 'sun' is alas rather a rarity in Fort William) with views out over the canal and Ben Nevis. Breakfast is served here, so you can watch both the... More

Glenshian Guesthouse could not be placed in a better setting than where it is and Glenys and Iain make it the perfect bed and breakfast.
