Had a lovely four night stay in May 2012. The rooms were extremely comfortable, the food superb, and a big thank you to Ian and Glenys who looked after us so well, nothing was too much trouble. Being in a group of six it was lovely to have a lounge area where we could all relax, have a chat, after a... More

We stayed at Glenshian for a couple of nights on a short trip to Fort William to celebrate my husband's birthday. Glenys and Iain were great hosts, welcoming us with tea, coffee & biscuits after our return from a good day out walking, going to the museum & dodging some showers! The accommodation is excellent. Rooms clean, beds comfy and... More

Thank you for writing a review. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay, especially celebrating your husband's birthday. We are also pleased that you saw somer siskins at close quarters from the feeders in the garden. The short walk to The Moorings Hotel is also a good way to finish off your day. Just spent a great New Year at this B & B. Everything we needed was provided. The hospitality and food is second to none. Fantastic breakfast - lots of choice. After a day out in this stunning area, despite the rain, we sat by the multi-fuel stove enjoying a welcome hot drink. Very cosy and comfortable. Will be back. More

Sorry for the delay in my response to your review. Thank you for writing it. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay. The weather hasn't much improved either. A few weeks of rain. The garden is very damp, but hopefully with a few dry days we should be able to get out and prepare things for the summer. Regards Glenys... More

This is a very long overdue thank you for your many kindnesses to us during our stay with you in July, prior to our cruise on the "Fingal". From being met by Glenys on arrival at the station in pouring rain!, to being driven by Iain on departure around to board "Flingal", and in between taxi-ing by Iain to Fort... More

I stayed for one night in early September, before setting off the next day to kayak the Caledonian Canal towards Inverness. I say ‘towards’ because Hurricane Katia stopped me in my tracks unfortunately, somewhere on Lock Ness, and forced me to return from Fort Augustus. Glenys and Iain and their immaculate Glenshian Guesthouse provided me with the best start for... More

We spent two nights at Glenshian. The hosts Glenys and Iain were wonderful. They were most friendly and helpful in offering ideas for places to visit and the history of the area. When they found out we were both railfans, Iain even gave me a tour of the local railyard and a schedule of special railtrips while we were in... More

We stayed at the Glenshian Guesthouse at the beginning of August. To start with we didn't have any difficulty in booking just for one night (which it is not easy in high season).
