My wife and I stayed 1 night here. This B+B has fantastic views over the Lough and is probaly the best feature. The room was small, but adequate, however, the worst feature was the shower and toilet which are in 2 separate little (and I mean little) cubicles. This is a lovely little B & B on the southern road into Fort William. It's got great views out onto the Loch, although it's slightly out of town. The rooms are a little old fashioned (not that that's a problem) but the breakfast was great, and the rates reasonable. more

Alt-an is a great little B'n'B on the outskirts of Fort William. My girlfriend and I stayed there for 4 nights over the Easter break. It makes a great base for exploring the highlands. Margaret was an excellent host and cooks a mean breakfast in the morning! more

We stayed at Alt-an Lodge for one night on 7 June 2006. The B&B is located on the main road into Fort William which runs alongside Loch Linhe. Although we arrived at lunchtime, Margaret the proprietor, allowed us into our room as it was ready. The view from the room was superb overlooking both the loch and the Ardgour mountains.... more
