A thoroughly enjoyable one night stay. The room was very comfortable and the owners have gone to great efforts to provide some nice touches e.g. the free 'dram' on arrival. I enjoyed my brief stay very much.

This guest house is close to the town and other attractions, it is located on a main road but the traffic noise wasn't a problem, the road gets very quiet at night. The rooms are clean and up to date with excellent finishes. There were three of us in two rooms. The single was exceptional. The twin room was very small & a bit tight but very comfortable. Stayed one night prior to doing the Three Peaks Challenge. The young lady who was in charge could not have been more helpful even extending to advice on ascending Ben Nevis. Easy to find from the directions on the website. Plenty of parking. Friendly reception with free whisky offered. Room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable if quite small. Feels more like a hotel than a guest house, lacks something to make it feel homely. However, it was perfectly good for our needs and only about 20 mins walk into town.
