Spent a wonderful week at Shepherds cottage, (Achintee farm) 17th Century cottage is cosy with modern heating but also a log/coal fire if required. Very comfortable bed, slept like logs every night. The location is superb with wonderful views and a minutes step across to the Ben Nevis Inn! All situated at the foot of the path to Ben Nevis.... More

We stayed in the guesthouse for two nights as part of our honeymoon. It is very hard to fault this accommodation in any way. The location is ideal for climbing Ben Nevis, and meant that we could jump straight into a hot bath when we got to the bottom. Scot and Heather are the perfect hosts; helpful, friendly and accommodating.... More

Perfectly located for the walk up Ben Nevis and spitting distance from the Nevis Inn which served excellent food. Scot and Heather were charming and courteous hosts. The accomodation was very comfortable and the breakfast superb. I would highly recommend this place to any friend.

We stayed in the 5 room bunkhouse which comprised of a single bedroom, kitchen, shower room and toilet. Enough space for 5 of us and it was well heated. The bunkhouse has pillows and duvets so no need to bring the sleeping bags. The location is perfect, just at the start of the Track and its so nice getting straight... More

We stayed at Achintee Farm for the third time in April 2012 after walking the West Highland Way. We stayed in 4 other places along the way, and Achintee Farm was by far the best. Scot and Heather have been in the business for so long, they know exactly what customers need. Scot is charming and hilarious - our cheeks... More

This is THE place to stay in Fort William, especially if you want to climb Ben Nevis. It's at the foot of the mountain, and a stone's throw from the pub (which had DELICIOUS food). Scot was such a great and HILARIOUS host, and gave us lots of helpful tips. We loved staying on the sheep farm, and it was... More

We stayed in the B&B part of Achintee Farm. Excellent hosts made this stay, Scott was brilliant and made sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were spacious, well equipped and nicely furnished and there was plenty of breakfast with lots of different choice. There's a drying room which came in handy after a VERY wet day climbing Ben... More

Great B&B in Glen Nevis, warm, welcoming, large quiet room. Scott (our host) was delightful and the Ben Nevis Inn (200m away) has great ambience and food. Location also very handy for Ben Nevis path.

2 adults and 2 teenagers stayed at Achintee Farm hostel for 2 nights before and after doing Ben Nevis. We had a 5 bed bunk room between the 4 of us. Great shower and separate loo, and a wonderfully fitted out kitchen. The whole place was immaculately clean and the owners were charming and helpful. I recommend staying here -... More
