Mansefield Guest House is located at Corpach, outside Fort William, just a short walk from the Corpach station. Our double room was a good size and the bathroom of a very high standard. The bed was really comfortable, far superior to many of the beds we slept on in our month long holiday in Scotland. Breakfast options initially seemed limited... More

We experienced the staff as friendly and the breakfast was okay. It was a bit complicated, because breakfast needed to be ordered already the evening before, but tis was okay for us. All in all it was okay.

This guest house is at the western end of the Caledonian Canal. We stayed there to go hill-walking. The room was clean, tidy and sufficiently large to accommodate our walking kit whilst it aired. There was a separate drying room for wet kit; and we did get wet kit, which is unsurprising in this part of Scotland! The welcome was... More

I have recently returned rested from a wonderful stay at Mansefield House, where i received a warm welcome from Bev and Toby Richardson. The room was comfortable and finely decorated, with a beautiful view of loch linnae and Ben Nevis. My hosts gae me fine advise on winter walks and welcomed me to the fireside to warm up on my... I was travelling through Scotland on a business trip and found that Mansefield Guest House was the perfect place to get some work done. Wi-fi access throughout the building enabled me to work without any disruptions. The setting is spectacular and peaceful and the house is just the same, with an open fire in the sitting room and a old-styled... More

We stayed here for dinner, bed and breakfast for two nights and enjoyed a most pleasant and comfortable stay. Our room was clean and tastefully decorated. The en-suite shower-room was perhaps a touch on the small side but one must bear in mind that this is an old property and thereore the en-suite has been created from part of the... More

There was a problem when we first arrived in that there was no-one at reception and the door was locked. We were unhappy that we were not informed that this could occur. When the manager finally arrived after waiting 30 minutes in the garden, everything was fine and the room was very warm. The bedroom although lacking space for two... More

My wife and I along with two friends stayed in Mansefield Guesthouse for a week in November. Although my wife and I had stayed there several times before, this was our friends first time. The accomodation is very comfortable as are the beds, which lend themselves to a good nights sleep. The meals are excellent; Bev is a fantastic cook,... More

This was awesome - fabulous location, great accomodation and the meals were the best in Scotland - didn't try a resturant after sampling Bevs cooking why change. She was helpful beyond our wildest dreams in terms of how to go about climbing ben nevis and what else to do in the area - definitely the best place to stay.
