My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights on a touring honeymoon and didn't get quite what we expected. We had paid for a luxury double with a view at extra cost. The reception staff ignored us completely until the manageress arrived and took care of us. The room was spacious but dated, mostly pink and not luxurious. The... more

My Partner and I travelled to this nice hotel for a short ski trip in Fort William. All in all we found this hotel to be above average. We booked a family room which was a very good size with a nice double bed for my partner and I and 2 good sized single beds for our 2 boys. The... more

On returning to Scotland after 12 years I was pleased to hear my parents had booked myself, my Aussie wife and 3 kids for a 3 night stay between Christmas and Hogmanay. Pleased until I read some of the negative reviews previously listed so downplayed the hotel to my family before arrival. My experience was a very positive one. We... more

We were staying at this hotel in transit from point A to point B so really weren't expecting much. The room was fine and we actually had a nice view of the countryside from our window. We were able to go on a nice walk by the river in the evening so an added bonus and see the double horned... more

After reading some of the reviews, I wasn't sure what to expect. On checking in, we were given our key and told to go across to the other building. The room was at very end of building on 1st floor - there are no lifts so pack light! On entering the very tired looking room we were hit by how... more

We booked for three nights. The food was good with fresh locally sourced products served by friendly staff. The room and bathroom were both clean and adequate. The swimming pool and gym were exceptionally good. This hotel offers good overall value without the pretentious luxury that some of the other reviewers expected. Dave Torch more

12 of us have just returned from a new year break to this hotel and what can we say - we booked the trip in July - if we have left it until last week it would have been half price and then it might have been OK. We travelled 500 miles to have a scottish new years eve -... more

We stayed at the BEN NEVIS hotel over Christmas 2007 and travelled with an organised coach party from the West Midlands. It was a long journey BUT worth it. The Hotel was clean, comfortable, and the dining area and food choices were excellent. We enjoyed the leisure facilities too. The pool was warm and all the staff in there were... more
